Great work! I’m from the US but I have extended family that live in a place called Falkirk. Your accent is really cool. But sometimes I can’t understand the Scottish accent. When I was there in Summer of 2022, I was in a Lidl and couldn’t understand the cashier 😂😂. Keep up the good work!
Some places in Scotland people are definitely easier to understand than others🤣 thanks for watching!

In rural Appalachia we use “Idjit” for idiot, so I got that one! Actually since a lot of Appalachia was settled by Scottish folks who wanted to be as far away from the English as possible, there’s quite a significant overlap between the two languages/dialects ;)
I just asked if you were Scottish or Irish on one of your other videos then i see this a few days after 😂 RUclips was a little late haha

With my accent (Western Isles), when I say driech, i roll my r and pronounce the 'ch' sound more, so I sound more like im saying 'da-reee-ccccchhhh' although obviously without actually saying it for any longer! You could try learning to some Gaelic next 😂

I’ve always found the Irish and Scot’s sling is similar my da is Irish and my ma is Scottish
