    I'm gonna get one for traveling :D Use routeros to go around mobile tethering limits, use a portable battery pack that can do 12V with USB-> barrel plug, plug the phone in the USB port, and use a wireguard tunnel to connect to my home network from where I go! Weeee!

    Making my own LTE modem is on my to do list and soon will be on the top. I would like to see new versions of RoterBoards. I think that ARM cpu version will be usefull (ZeroTire only form ARM) and standard POE (now it's moslty only passive 18-30V).

    If only there was one with arm64 and m.2 B-key slot with USB3 for 5G modem 😞

    Since hap ax2 is missing any storage option can you make similar routerboard but with usb/m.2/sdcard storage and a wider voltage range (10-57v).

    @mikrotik
    Hello MikroTik team.
    Could you please add support for ExFAT file system to ROS instead of currently available FAT32 ?
    I think a lot of people need it and users have already addressed you with this request before.

      Can you clarify for what purpose you need a specific filesystem? For filesharing over network it does not matter

    @mikrotik
    GPT exfat partition support
    Can you please think of adding the following in you next big router switches:
    ssd nvme addon support
    extra ram slots
    old mini pciE slots like the old routerboards for wifi cards or 5g mini cards ( the old pci slots were excelent before with wifi )
    Main reason for gpt exfat patitions & ram is to run vm images or extra OS on mikrotik...... example pihole, pfsense or pbx etc......
    and very important for your small routers, try and make its ram 64mb or more and not 16mb cause its to little

    Nothing new in this product line. :(
    I myself use the RB450Gx4, and I want to "build your own router" by adding a USB modem. But this is unreal, unfortunately... :(

    Has anyone experienced the same issues with their CRS310-8G+2S+IN with RouterOS 7.11.2?
    An Intel X550-T2 with the latest firmware and drivers from Intel (from their ethernet connection package 28.2.1) can only connect to the switch with 1 GbE. Manually forcing it to 2.5 GbE in Intel’s drivers doesn’t lead to the establishment of a connection. The same Intel ethernet adapter and cable works fine with 10 GbE with a CRS312-4C+8XG-RM.

      Disable auto-negotiation and set link speed manually. help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/Ethernet#Ethernet-Properties
      If problem persists, please contact Mikrotik support.

      @@mikrotik Thank you for the tip!
      It works if Auto-Negotiation on the switch as well as the ethernet adapter is disabled and the speed is manually set to 2.5 GbE on both ends. Not exactly an elegant solution but at least it works now. Can you open an issue ticket internally so this gets hopefully fixed with a RouterOS update? I’m seeing identical behavior on two units of the CRS310-8G+2D+IN so a random hardware defect seems unlikely.
