The Final March of the First Order at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

- Saturday July 6th, 2019 - Today was the final performance of ‘March of the First Order’, a parade that for the past few years occurred several times a day down the main pathway of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Captain Phasma would lead her Stormtroopers down Hollywood Blvd, stop halfway down to survey the crowd, and then make their way down to the stage in front of the Chinese Theater.
With the opening of Galaxy’s Edge next month, the beloved March is being retired after today’s performances, so we headed to Hollywood Studios to catch it one last time. But the clouds in the sky are threatening to ruin our plans...
Will you miss this daily show at Hollywood Studios? Or will the availability of Galaxy’s Edge and its new shows overshadow the loss of the March of the First Order?

Great video! We were there too. The fact that they did the Final March in the pouring rain along with the people's reaction made it even more special I think.

So sad to see this go, my family went to Disney world last year and I watched the March Of The First Order like 4 times. Definitely one of the biggest highlights of my trip that I will never forget.
puttymon - With Galaxy’s Edge opening next month, I am confident that the “void” left by the March of the First Order will soon be filled and more so!
Ear To Ear Magic We can hope, we were probably gonna go back in a year or two, hope we get something like this, but even if we don’t the new star wars theme park will still be worth checking out!

We were in Hollywood Studios just yesterday and bemoaning the fact that this parade no longer exists. It was so good to see in the front of the Park! ✨

Javier Luna Llaguno - The First Order moved its forces back into Galaxy’s Edge.
The people whooing ruins the effect
NGX Pilot - the majority, if not all of the guests at that last parade, were there for a final sendoff for the Castmembers. If this had been any other performance, it would have been distracting. But it was a nice “goodbye” to at least this version of the March and to those who worked to make it happen.
