Whoo hoooo! Congrats! That's such a good feeling when you hit the switch and everything seems good! And I hear you changed that damn battery in your smoke detector! Ha!
Oh man, what a story..... but in the end everything will be okay...... and something learned again.... never take the engine apart when it is installed 😂
I just didn’t have enough room. Type motors are big and difficult to drop without doing in combination with transmission. I’m looking forward to your next video.
@@rustydubbs Yes, I know the space problem all too well. and the type 4 is actually bigger than the type 1. But luckily you did it, even if it was difficult
Hell yeah dude. I think you inspired me to set a goal of going to busses by the bridge. Its august now and hopefully that gives me enough time to get the bus ready.
Good thing you got it back up and going. Good work sir!
Thank you.

I was surprised to find out I hand two in the garage.
WOW, I would have pulled the motor. Good Video.
It definitely would have been easier.
Congratulations! Bus sounds a lot better.
It does. It’s still need Watts to lay hands on it.

Do it man. It’s a three day trip one way from here. But I’m going for it.
Saw the Rotella T4. Is this what you use on the bus?
Yes for break. Very high in Zinc.
That engine needs dual carbs.
I agree. I’ve put a couple hundred miles on it. It’s very sluggish.
@@rustydubbs 15:10 I wondered why you had such a regular, slow tick-over. Good luck trying to get that with twin carbs.
It would of been sooo much easier to just pull motor.
It only takes 1 hr

My problem was space unfortunately. I live in an HOA so I had to get everything in the garage and I’m just completely out of room.
