I remember buying a fake $10,000 box and being upset…but $3,500,000 I can’t imagine.
Well i cried when i spend my 14 dolars on fake pokemon cards sooo
THATS DISGUSTING $10,000 IS STILL LOTS OF MONEY ITS LIKE HAVING 20 MILLION
I remember
Ooh that sucks
Ah yes, grown men drinking wine in a hotel room while they open a $3.5 million case of pokemon cards. Just as the pokemon company always intended it
lol
XD
@Кристиян Трънбашев It's easy, Pokemon cards are divided into sets.
The first sets in English were made by wizard of the cost and they are the rarest.
A sealed box full of these sets has a very high value and whenever a sealed box is opened, the value of the others increases.
If you make a seemingly legit sealed box you can get away with it because the buyer will not open it to not decrease its value.
Hey! Can you explain how can you be scammed actually? How does the whole gamble thing with Pokémon cards work? How do I know the value of them? How can I play with them outside the gamble? I wanna know everything about them. Pokémon cards aren't popular in my country
damn fckin yes dude!!
No one ever:
The punk that scammed everyone with his fake cards:
"It was a G.I. Joe joke".
"IM GOING TO"
better "G.I. Joke"
Haahahahhaha didn't expect this comment
Biggest moment in the history of television
It’s also kinda sad that the man who authenticated the box basically just lost all his credibility. He’s always going to be reminded of this moment
Are they stil in business?
I feel you. It's the feeling where you know something is fake but you try to ignore the feeling and do the wrong thing. Sorry for you, Logan!
He’s a lot calmer loosing 3.5 million than me when I lose 20 bucks
You have no idea about his unrecorded reactions...
I lost 200 inr wich is around 3_4 dollars and still was happy because my friends thought it was real
Cuz loosing 3.5 million to him is like you looking a dollar bill
LOL 😂
I lost 4k and I want to kms
To those saying his reaction is so fake, Logan has mentioned before that he always tries to stay positive no matter what even in the worst situation. that's why he tends to laugh in situations like this
I was laughing so hard when I saw GI Joe cards LOLLLL... The fact that they weren't raging over 3.5 mill is crazy
He got his money back
Sure thing, they know those GI Joe cards will be extremely valuable in like 1 Million years from now ;)
Laughing at their misfortune?
I mean is it a doll or real lol
Dude I was feeling the heart attack with yall on that one. God damn. I feel so bad for yall
He seems so calm about it. Two years ago, my friend took 5 euros from me and never returned back. I still sometimes think about it and it makes me sad.
My friend in College borrowed my Spanish book and never gave it back. I think he lost it and was ashamed to tell me and just avoided me after that. Needless to say, I never got the book back and we were not friends after that
I can’t imagine how you all feel 😭 I really hope they are able to trace it back to whoever created that fake case, this is just so wrong
He should try to sue them for fake cards
Duh
@Keirin Boyes Exactly. I honestly feel like LP did this for clicks. I wouldnt be surprised if he just paid these professionals to look like it's a legit thing he bought.
Considering hes made 10s of millions off his shittt nfts and scam coin dink doink probably doesn't care that much
@Voice Beast money trail can’t disappear
I come to rewatch this every now and then for a laugh, but respect to shyne 5:06 for not beaming that box of bs 😭
At least he got a refund from his friend. I'm surprised he didn't have a meltdown. 3.5 mil for Pokémon cards, my excitement would've been through the roof - I would have lost it if I found out it was inauthentic.
I love how he is still smiling with confidence at 3:23.. this is pure gold! Do more deals like that one, please! This is great entertainment! 😂😂😂
Your videos are amazing always blesses too everyone keep up with the great work family
I can't imagine the feeling. Big support
No support
Wesh david
@Nils D. Ironic
Lol
This man’s videos have gotten so much better than back in 2018 with the vlogs
I had a couple boxes of these as a kid. Wish I still had my 2 Charizards if I knew they'd be worth so much money I woulda held onto them..
I can’t believe the authenticator approved partially off a sticker on the side of the box. I worked in a pet products warehouse where we would get pallets of brand new boxed products with similar labels and after a month of the boxes being moved around or falling on the floor and slid then picked up and put back on the pallet, the sticker label would have some ware and would have the cardboard line spaces worn on them. Same goes for the tape that keeps the boxes closed. It wouldn’t be more than a month or two and tape on the boxes were one with the boxes. Box should’ve been cracked and externally examined without moving the boxes inside around and resealed with official tape and dated and signed. Still would’ve been a full box, still would’ve had the original boxes and packs inside. Logan saw something was wrong just from the shape of the boxes when they opened the case.
@TheRandomYoYo easiest thing to do is just to weigh them, that would instantly tell if something is off
Doesn't work like that. Original sealed carries a lot more value than opened verified and resealed. There were ways to check and them saying the did a security scan they would have seen all the different sizes packs stacked to the brim inside.
Same thing at UPS
The fact that PROFESIONALS identified this box as sealed the first time around, makes me think about all of the people who could be scammed by not realizing these mistakes. Logan has a huge following and that is the reason why he found out about it. But if anyone who does not have a huge following went through the same thing, they would not be able to get it back. It honestly shocks me how people are capable of doing such things as these.
Imagine going to prison over Pokémon card fraud, insane.
not really, more of scamming
imagine get 2M for making a box plenty of shit😂
IKR
over 3.5 million dollars not pokemon cards
I like how he made this sound like a true crime documentary. I hope they can track down the original owner of the box
He’s somewhere in Canada tho.
He’s on the run. My friends dads friend was the one who sold the cards. My friends dad hasn’t had contact in a few months and doesn’t even know where he is.
Dude I can't imagine if that were me I would have smashed that glass!
I know how it feels, my friend gave me so much fake cards for my drawings
I feel so bad I wish I could send over my charizard
Logan needs to get an investigative team to back track where this package came from and make a very entertaining docu series on the story.
@Weekend Pirate yes it's a felony in all 50 states since it was 3.5 million dollars
@Royan yeah it's a felony in all 50 states because it's 3.5 mil
and spend even more monies?
@ToesSoundEffects that may prove to be impossible if you are looking for the case doctors who actually made this case. Since it remained unopened for many years, it could have changed hands 10 times amongst unknowing collectors after the case was tampered with.
He wouldn't come back alive from this 🥲
Scammers like these are pissing me off
You should file a complaint against the scammer
Well Logan, you can’t win them all 😂
Money was most likely in escrow and the seller probably received 30% during the exchange, and the rest once the box was open and he validated the authenticity. Atleast that's the smart thing to do when we're talking millions. Which is why I think this is fake, but I'm just sharing my thoughts on the matter. No hard feelings.
Logan’s vids are actually so entertaining, I wish he would upload more often.
Not really bro there not at all
@d can you stop
He’s doing quite a lot. Including wrestling and running prime which sucks
Yes more
If I were him I would have yelled angrily so loud
You should definitely sue all those guys with you on this video they screw you
Some words I taught I would never hear was “ this is the biggest fraud in the history of Pokémon “
Logan u should def make a hunting scammers series I am totally down to help
Scammer: It's so sad for all parties involved
Logan: 🧐
@Don't read profile photo ok
Soo the scammer was caught or what??
@Don't read profile photo Ok I won't 👍
@Susan Wojcicki Bolshevik from Poland I love your profile name.
What a bad day for Logan Paul... 😥
He’s a lot calmer loosing 3.5 million than me when I lose 20 bucks
imagine people looking through the window and thinking they are doing illegal things
Good for him 👏 👏
this fraud must've been long ago, and we're just finding out.
This makes the time I lost $6,500 on a sealed DDS game look like child’s play😭

You are also kind of a scammer...But your vibes are cool...
We're going to need a follow up to this man.
I'd feel so ashamed to trick someone for that amount of money.
This how I used to feel every time someone stole my pokemon cards as a kid
I am so pleased for Logan
Ah man, I hope you’re able to recoup your losses and catch the fraudster. I wonder how far back it goes… New series “Fraudsters: Gotta catch em all”
"HAPPINESS HAD TO BE AVAILABLE FOR EVERY HUMAN AT EVERY POINT IN TIME AND THE BIBLE WASNT SO THE BIBLE IS FAKE" -MOHIL KRISHNA PATEL
@Brandon Chutt That's pretty much how everything works but ok...
@Brandon Chutt Ur basically saying bitcoin has no value since it has no purpose...
@Brandon Chutt based on your comments, you perceive value based solely on whether a good has an inherent use. A car to travel with, a backpack to carry your belongings, shoes to wear, but value isn’t all that simple. We give value to items, no item inherently has it. A car we value for its practical use, but trading cards in this case we value for their nostalgia, speculative nature, and more often than not enjoyment. Nostalgia is incredibly valuable. Logan may have been looking at it as a speculative investment, but regardless he believed the box was worth $3.5M. He would have been the only person in the world to own the box had it been real, and desirable 1/1’s are a collectors dream, especially when its involved with the most valuable franchise in history. You’re oversimplifying the concept of value, it’s an intricate topic.
@Brandon Chutt you don’t realize how flawed your logic is.
The person that sold it Is a living life
Why don't you make a series hunting down these scammers? Idk seems fulfilling to me
tha't how u make content, come up with fake bs stories and voila! u got people talking about u! nice job Logan u doin a great job, no jokes.
Did he really bring on a professional legit checker and then they turned out to be gi joe cards 😂😂I feel so sorry but how did this happen? Just a random online purchase?
That "We all got duped, agreed?" Was the horrifying calm of a man who just lost every ounce of credibility
Bbce is should have to pay for this cause they authenticated it
Yeah for sure lol I actually don't blame him to much. I would think it's incredible hard to verify the outside of a cardboard box, not very many telling signs to judge
@kavinh10 I'm on eBay looking at unopened material on almost a daily basis (racks included) and it hasn't happened yet. How many months ago did this happen? It's been a few. As I stated right after it did happen, it will have no effect on the hobby. I'm 100% right so far.
@Steven Smoley well congratz all rack packs are now going to take a dip because you can't be certain if it's even trustworthy anymore. Logan's box likely isn't the first time they fcked up it's just he's the first one on such a large scale to put it on a video.
that's like the reaction someone has when someone dies at their party and they want anyone to keep the same consistent story with the police lmao
Scammer: It's so sad for all parties involved
Logan:
I feel so bad for you LogaHow do you spent $10 million on so many cards same happened to me
So happy he’s uploaded again been here since 2017
I still wonder what does the card actually do.
Owner saying “we were all duped” is really trying to make sure you don’t come for BBCE lmaooooo they should be the ones to pay up
Look at his face after the box opening. It's like he's in shock, full realization that he might lose business.
@bigmike obama There is such a thing as damage control. This is a VERY public screw up on their part that will likely cost them far more in future business if they don't cover the losses. I would bet they end up paying before it's all over.
They’re sweating they know their brand is done now no one asking for the idiots that screwed up Logan’s box😂
they arent liable in any way, im sure they have a disclaimer to that effect that has to be signed before they authenticate anything....the real damage done to them here is the damage to their credibility. anyone who has seen this wont take their "authentication" seriously anymore
Don't read my name 👊
Amazing how paper cards could be worth so much. Not worth a penny to me
Probably the most painfull "L" to recieve
Imagine if the GI JOE cards were actually worth more than $3,500,000 LOL!
for someone who continues to invest a lot of money in pokemon cards, you sure do get scammed a lot. Great bait here
It's like when I saved a buyer $375,000 when the 1st ed box they were gonna buy was fake but x a lot this time
I was literally watching those Dumb Money vids a couple of hours ago. I’m in the Pokémon rabbit hole YT algorithm
@leonhart I'm glad you got rid of Collectibles Guru. Now, what should the Pokemon Community do about the Gurus 2.0?
Nice plug Leon 😈👍
U saved someone’s life leonhart
And that buyer’s name?
Albert Einstein.
This may sound insulting, but I hope he has learned his lesson
Edit: My meaning is that one should never spend so much money on something like this. As a card fighter, I know this much
Bozo
the vending machine scammed me I was so mad so he losing 3.5 mil is so calm like wow bro
I wonder if his recent WWE contract pays him more than how much he lost on Pokemon cards 😂
He is doing the right thing by not uploading daily. He is giving time to health too
When the owner of the authentication business said "we all got duped, agreed?" And looked to get confirmation from Logan, he was trying to get verbal confirmation that he can't be blamed or sued.
🤣🤣🤣
Yeahhhh...having a real hard time feeling bad for him.
Omg did not realise that but so true
no problem, this means you can get scammed 100 more times before you might lose a month worth of money. If you had learnt from the guru scandal you could have known you should have purchased it live and checked the boxes.
Hey man don’t be discouraged, those gi joe cards could be worth something…
Bro is calm about losing $3.5 million. I'd be mad about losing $5
i genuinely feel bad for the dude that authenticated it
One time I bought a fake card on ebay for like 25 bucks, so trust me I know how you feel man
@Luis Garcia is a joke?
@Luis Garcia wtf😂
Its a damn joke
I'm sorry for your loss your in everyone's prayers 🙏 hahahaa
U don’t know how it feels dude that’s 3.5m there talking about urs is just 25 that’s nothing
Im a professional boxer im looking forwards to going with u 💯🥊🏆...i know your savage so come on lets get this done
At least he got some Gijoe cards to open
Bro I almost cried when I saw the owner with his lip quivering and shit. I feel so bad. To be honest he did all he could to authenticate the outside. It should have just been opened and verified that way.
in the first place, pokemon cards are even not worth 10 bucks
the fact that Logan, in a room full of "experts" was the first person to say something about how the boxes didn't look right is telling
If you’re using pc, you can skip RUclips ads in less than a second by clicking on the video, then clicking ⬅️ and then clicking ➡️.
Note: This does not work on mobile.
@shoo bror this has nothing due with his drink why he would show anyone his 3.5 mill of Pokémon cards are fake where if they was real they could be worth 10 mill one day
@shoo bror he doesn’t make content anymore, he has other investments. Why look stupid for 3.5 dollars, why would those experts agree to get involved for their reputation to be tarnished.
@Eagle he got a refund
Lmao ppl getting paid for bullshit
So this is what “Don’t take any wooden nickels” means 🤣
Completely different from my first comment, they should’ve had howie standing there asking Logan if he was positive he wanted to open that case and risk 3…… point….. 5 million dollars. Or sell that box and choose a different box.
so even the authenticators have no idea whats inside a closed box lol
He didn’t lose $3.5m. He got refund by his mate. I’m sure a lot of the money he made From RUclips and other marketing stuff will go to that other dude
