A little tip, if you didn't know: the more you click in front of the player on the bases, the more juice they use. There is a weird amount of strategy in how you play this children's game. Gotta leave some energy to hold the lead. Also, I would switch Jocinda and Kiesha in the field, but that's just me.
Should I move this series to the 2003 version? I have realized that every game is on the same field in this game. The newer game also has the pro players.
Jorge is our hidden gem. He’s been doing well recently in fielding 1B for us. He might not be our best hitter, but he’s a stone wall on that first bag and very little gets past him. This might be because that 1B is a high traffic position, but I’d like to think that he’s got some sort of prescience at 1B and tags out runners for us with frightening regularity with it. EDIT: If we’re talking busts (or players who simply haven’t been delivering), though, I’m actually shocked that both Keisha and Jocinda have been doing so poorly at bat. They’re decent fielders (Keisha in the outfield, Jocinda at 3B), but their bats are so cold when they get to the plate, stuffing them in my freezer would cause them to start melting. Plus, they keep getting tagged out.
Jorge most underrated 100%. Dude seems to have forgot he sucks at literally everything just due to the way Jorge is fielding his high traffic position and raking at the frickin plate. He's even putting good wood on the ball most the time. Quality at bats. He was here to start just as a joke now he's an asset!
Fun Fact: It doesn't affect his displayed stats, but Pablo actually does have a notable weakness in his fielding: he's really short, and while he's still great at scooping up grounders, he has a lot of trouble catching fly balls, and other players may overshoot when passing to him.
@@duncan3932 I wouldn't say liability, his speed and passing are great and his catching is still good when the ball is lower to the ground, you just definitely don't want to put him on a base.
I've been playing this game a lot lately because of you! By the way, Pablo has a nearly unhittable right hook. If you put it in the inside lower corner, it has a very high chance for a 3-4 pitch strikeout and saving a lot of juice.
If I remember right from my childhood, if you click on the runners multiple times while they run, they go faster but it also makes them tired quickly. That may be why Pete got caught
When hitting hooks put the bat in the top half of the circle and to the side the pitch is coming from it gives better contact especially if u tend to swing a bit early. It helps a lot with Kiesha. Also line drive is a great start for Pete wheeler since it will often end in doubles or triples. Line drives are great for most 3 ball hitters that are slow.
In classic (i.e., pre-2005) Backyard Baseball, Kiesha has a bit of a learning curve to her batting. It'll take a little while to get used to her batting quirks, but once you do so, she rakes the field to the point that Plablo has some competition.
Kenny is the most underrated because he is fast in that wheelchair, underrated hitting, he is literally Aroldis Chapman on the mound, and he has never missed a ground ball
The only things juice affect are the pitching and base running. Low juice you run slower, getting into rundowns kills juice, pitchers can’t throw strikes etc
Kenny and Achmed are underrated. Kenny is in a wheel chair putting in that work achmed is constantly solid numbers he’s like the Austin Riley of the Braves. And then Final note Jorge was selling on the pitchers mound
i miss these kinda games i dont care what sport baseball football etc im all for these backyard sports games i wish they make a updated version of these games with todays graphics
I found (and subscribed to) your channel because of this series. I am now more invested in the progress of the Little Giants than I have any right to be. Please keep it going.
Jorge is top tier. Doesn't really wanna play, rated super low. For sure does not want to get dirty. Have not watched this all yet, but up until this point, my man has not missed a catch and I even witnessed him take a dive in the last video. Put your players that are known to hit dingers in 3rd , 4th, 6,7,9. Give a a chance to get a runner on base for them to send to the home plate :)
I think Jorge is hella underated, he hasn't been causing any errors. I don't know what happens in the video but Jorge isn't gettin too much love despite being last pick lol
I’m loving this series I think you should stick with this version simply because I don’t know if you can continue your season on the 2003 version but whatever decision you do make I’m fine with
Pablo should always be the clean up number 4 hitter just in case of a grand slam chance. You can almost always make it to first base bunting with Pete.
Best lineup- 1) Pete to bunt and get on base 2) Ahmed to get on, pete maybe steals to 3rd 3) Keisha to get on to 1st 4) Pablo cleans up with a grand slam
The energy is why your players slow down when you have them running on the bases. They run out so like if you have one of them pitch their juice box is low. If you get extra juice bring in a slow player and give it to them. Also why it's probably better to have a slow player pitch, you don't really lose anything in speed while running.
This was such a fun edit for me 😂 All the memes
Frank always gets good wood on the ball. We also know for sure he has no pine tar
You’re awesome!
@@zassassin4950 meh I’d give him like a 24.1/27 tbh

Yeah this guy’s players are drained by the second inning. Makes it hard to watch when someone is so dumb.
Bunting against a kid in a wheelchair is a special kind of evil.
Speaking as a former kid in a wheelchair (who is now an adult in a wheelchair), that's a big mood, lol.
I was gonna like this comment but it already has 69 and I can't ruin perfection
Bunting with Achmed at C is a special kind of stupid.
That’s hilarious I’m in a wheelchair and love base ball with everything so I really think that’s funny
When he’s rocking a 0.00 ERA you gotta do something
Should I move this series to the 2003 version? I have realized that every game is on the same field in this game. The newer game also has the pro players.
yeah! I love your vids.
The 2003 version is definitely my favorite too!
I say finish the season then migrate to the 03 version.
Yes please!!
It has much better gameplay in my opinion at least.

True, i wouldn’t say Pablo is a 4 in fielding at all, he’s usually a liability. Still the best batter in the game tho
@@duncan3932 I wouldn't say liability, his speed and passing are great and his catching is still good when the ball is lower to the ground, you just definitely don't want to put him on a base.
Facts man he’s a LIABILITY when fielding. Been playing the past few weeks and it’s constant errors no matter what position he plays

I love how Stephanie runs like she is doing the Quagmire giggity head nod!
People often forget how versatile and valuable Stephanie is in this game. A must have on all teams.
A true jack of all trades
Just a tip, Jocinda is a line drive hitter. Kiesha hits for power best when it is up and middle to outside of the plate.
I've been playing this game a lot lately because of you!

Looks like Pablo’s trying to summon the dark lord of baseball with those hitting numbers lol
Hey man, you gotta stop clicking on the base path while your players are running. That’s what drains their energy so quickly.
Achmed is definitely one of the best on the team. Consistent hitter and makes great plays in the field
The Kenny Achmed duo is unbeatable
Yo can’t get enough of this series my friend
Most underrated is Stephanie
If your players get too tired then you have to call a timeout for them to rest. They will all drink juice boxes and be faster again.
That was a game mechanic?????

The most underrated player is 100% Jorge. You can give him flack for how bad he is at the plate, but my boy dominates 1st base.

Jorge will be a late bloomer he is my pick. His position at first base is spot on. I would compare him to Dennis Rodman.
Achmed kahn is highly underrated

Stephanie underrated as hell she hits nukes

I think it's Jorge. Yes, Jorge. The GOAT. I said what I said.
Ernie is an underrated GOAT
The energy is why your players slow down when you have them running on the bases. They run out so like if you have one of them pitch their juice box is low. If you get extra juice bring in a slow player and give it to them. Also why it's probably better to have a slow player pitch, you don't really lose anything in speed while running.
Pablo is a legend
Keisha, Achmed, and Kenny were always on my teams. Of course Pablo and Pete if you could get them.
Was obsessed with this game as a kid
This series is so good
I used to mainly use Keisha as my clean-up hitter. Her power was devastating.
