I live in St.petersburg. Snook all over the place. I even catch them in some of are lakes and ponds! It's insane action! Snook,Bass,Tarpon and sometimes Redfish! 💪🏾👍🏾
I’m from Wakulla county Florida just south of Tallahassee and we are seeing more of them!!! Now I don’t have to drag my boat to Crystal River to catch ‘em!!!
I caught 4 or 5 baby snook around 4" long last summer in Topsail Sound NC. I couldn't believe it but found a few other people had done the same during a Google search.
That's some good info lol. My dad lives in Jacksonville and used to live in topsail. I was trying to find out if I could catch them there. Used to grouper fish there alot offshore with a commercial fisherman and my dad. NC has an awesome fisheries. Snook is an awesome addition though. Can't wait to try.when did you catch them if you don't mind me.asking. and where you near new River inlet
I have caught 3 snook in the middle Suwannee River,in 2021, two were 27" and 1 was 24", one of the 27" snook, the farthest north, was in view of the Dowling Park Bridge
Grew up snook fishing in central/south Florida but left in '81 because of the yankee invasion. Catching and eating snook are the only things I miss about that part of the state.

Trolling lipped baits through “East pass” in Suwannee is pretty effective for large snook and tarpon when the summer hits. Good luck out there guys !
