Nintendo please partner with Square Enix so you can publish DQM Joker 3 to North America.
I freaking love the look of this game. The graphics are so beautiful and yet so simple. That's why I love nintendo things. They have limitations but there games to me personaly have the best graphics because of the amount of vibrancy they have. Looks like 2011 and 2012 will be a poor year for me :( (poor as in no money ;D)
They definitely put a ton of effort into this game. This is on the ancient DS from 2004, yet looks better than 2013's Pokémon X/Y on the 3DS (the DS' successor that came out the same year as DQMJ2)

@@jonathandominguez4262 while i do think x and y look slightly better, the point was this was on the DS :) while pokemon on 3ds, 2010 for this game, x and y says 2013, and on 3ds :) pokemons always been far behind dq which is sad because every games been stale for the past 10 years imo, no hate tho

I really loved the first game. Trust me I put over 200 hours of my life into it. When they took multiplayer down I quit. Good times. Can't wait for the sequl!!!!!
Never played this game. I wasn't interested. I'm gonna play it today. It's an old game but It's new to me since I've never played it. On catridges, in the cloud or roms, games last forever.
You missed out big time on online tournaments man :(

I really hope they keep putting out Dragon Quest games here in America. I herd there was a possiblity they would stop becasue for the small fanbase, anyone herd other wise?
it's the same artist for both the dragon quest series and dragon ball. he also did blue dragon which is why that also looks very similar.
I hope one day i can become a really big content creator, so i can show so many people how good the DQMJ games (and DQ games in general) are. Because they are SO good, and it's crazy how they're so popular in japan and not the west. q_q)

@MrFinalgamer Actually back in the 90's, Ken Sugimori tried to imitate Akira Toriyama's art style and the pokémon trainers looked like rejected Dragon Quest/Ball Z Characters.

@Darkraham im sure they will i just think its funny how you do all the hard work in the first version monsters 2 then the pro version comes out and all those ours you put in your monster go to waste because you got a newer one

I'm pretty sure the main character in DQMJ2 is just a younger version of one of the characters from Dragon Quest.

@Smfsableye He probably changed it so the naysayers wouldn't use that against him. I'm sure back in the 90s there were lots of people claiming he was a wannabe Akira Toriyama because of his art style.

This series is becoming everything that Pokemon is not. They make new additions and improvements to each game, rather than just keeping everything the same, like Gamefreak
@Triixster i know it makes me so upset that they wont release the pro version this game rocks and have you seen the monsters in the pro version that arent in the regular they are amazing

From someone who loved dqmj1 and 2 this trailer just makes me wish that the 3rd game would get translated, ik there are English patches and be 0 point for porting such a older game with dqmj3 being 8 years old now but man these games was amazing to me as a kid, this was very much a niche series but it what got me into dragon quest in the first place, treasures was good but compared to dqmj1 and 2 it was mediocre at best, shame these will never be ported/remade cause this company hates saving/giving options for fans to play older games apart from a select few.

Glad to know the NDS hasn't completely died out or replaced by the 3DS yet.
And the mix thing looks likes it made the slime in armor.
@kenzzzhou Magnemite, Grimer, Diglett, Voltorb, Jigglypuff, Geodude, Bellsprout, Oddish, Ghastly, Ditto, Mewtwo, Magmar, Electibuzz, and Nidoran look nothing like animals.
And most of the Dragon Quest monsters aren't even animals.
So I don't see why that's a problem at all.

I see the Nintendo DS still has some good life with it! This looks fun and that Kirby game looks even better. Wow, you know what this means? Come this time next year, Nintendo will be the first game company in history to have four successful gaming systems out at the same time! The Nintendo DS, the Nintendo 3DS, the Nintendo Wii, and the Nintendo Wii U. Genius.

No words can express how happy i am, but will this have the monsters from the professional version they released in Japan already, or will be be limited to what the game was released as just 2?

@darthelghastN7 Oh, I already want a 3DS but lack the money to obtain one. And I've heard Pokemon Black and White have some bonus graphical features for the 3DS though I still don't know if its true or not. Though indeed, those games would look pretty sweet on it.

@SuperDragonkin The professional version has around 120 new monsters, every monster can be upgraded to rank S (even your favorites) so every monster is competitive and finally the professional version has a new world added.
The normal version is still good. REALLY better than Joker 1. :l
If we will get the professional version, i don't know. :(
