My problem isn't really the A2P issue, it's the fact that you have to use new phone numbers for established businesses. You could use forwarding on the inbound calls, if the client's phone provider offers that feature.
You can have them keep their existing phone number and do call forwarding to HighLevel phone number if the call is not picked up. Here's how to do that: bit.ly/CALL-FORWARDING

Do you still do an onboarding Zoom session, to show at th every least the all-in-one inbox and so on to new clients? Or just take care of it all and let the AI employee do its job and that's it? The setup with the client is the overlooked part in so many videos.
Yes, I still highly recommend doing an initial zoom onboarding session to get clients acquainted with the software and make sure things are setup the right way!

Yes you do need a2p to set this up, I've just checked with go high level. I personally think this is a right pain in the ass, considering its only for inbound calls, its rediculous. And the proof they are asking for, passport, government ID, feel like a criminal. And, I cant see a small business going through A2P register. At 61 I have jumped in.. It is a great opportunity prepare for a learning curve though.
