Quick question, is the Flint 2 by GL iNet not the "power user" router you hoped they would make in the middle of the video? I only ask because I have been looking for a good gaming router that can handle a symmetical fiber 1Gig connection and after all my research I decided on the Flint 2.....did I mistake thinking it will be powerful enough to handle gaming + some 30-40 devices?
Gaming routers are good for entry level users, but the next step for your home (not travel) would be to run a pfsense or opensense firewall and then use multiple cheap routers as access points. Surprisingly it's cheaper than those marked up gaming routers.
I wouldn't agree with entry level but DIY routers and firewall projects are always much cheaper and more robust if you know how to properly run and maintain them. Too much hassle for even most advanced users IMO.

Try it and let me know
Hey, seems like a nice device. Can you tell me if this a good device for setting up Wireguard server not client?
Sure. No issues

I just bought this router. Do you know if it has the ability to combine both WiFi SSID into one ?
Don't believe so. Since you have it, check the settings
@TheJabberTech thank you for replying. Yeah I looked and couldn't see the setting though. I thought I might have been missing it.
hey are you using it for wireguard server? i am curious about how it performs?
Hi buddy do you have the kilswitch with it ?
Yes
Hey, by any chance do you require a thumbnail artist ?
For free yes. Paid no lol
Why use a lapel mic if you still sound like you're 50 meters away?
Why ask comments unrelated to the video
Its 53$ now
Worth it!
