    Sir, according to the third gas law where Pressure is directly proportional to temperature .But generally we study that high temperature causes low pressure conditions and low temperature causes high pressure conditions.Going Adiabatically ,is this different?please clear the doubt.

    • @TheGeoecologist
      @TheGeoecologist  3 года назад +1

      Adiabtic condition is a controlled condition of air parcel..it's not same as Environment condition...that's why it's called dry or wet adiabtic lapse rate (DALR/WALR and ELR).
      In that situation, when P is directly proportional to T, when V is constant remember. But, in normal circumstances V is not constant, hence it changes. I hope it makes sense to you...or you may watch the video once more carefully...my best wishes to you 🌱😊

  • @deveshsaudagar9022

    sir please review my understanding for DALR :
    as there is low moisture in the atmosphere, less amount of water vapor is present for condensation thus less amount of latent heat is released. This results in temp difference per km being greater as compared to wet ALR.

      (Dry air)As less heat releases therefore decrease in temperature with altitude(lapse rate) is more
      (Wet air) as more heat releases therfore decrease in temperature with altitude(lapse rate) is less
      I think(i dont know exqctly )

    Sir,, in adiabatic we are saying that temperature of air parcel is not changing,,,, but in adiabatic lapse rate we are now saying the temperature of air parcel is decreasing with altitude....
    I have some confusion in it since starting...plz clear my doubt....or am i thinking in a wrong way..???

    • @TheGeoecologist
      @TheGeoecologist  4 года назад +1

      Don't get confused..adiabatic change means only inside change..no exchange from outside... When in same layer temperature difference between normal layer and parcel of air is there then it either sits down or goes up...but no exchange of heat is there...I hope this will clear your doubt...or you can watch the video once more carefully...my best wishes 🌱😊
