Urban gloves are for city riding, like the name suggests, because the protection is not the best. Personally I didn't find the rynox gloves to be as comfortable as the viaterra grid. It can be a subjective opinion, so you might need to try both out.. Also, I believe the protection in the new via Terra grid is superior..

Go for M, if still there is 0.5 to 1cm gap in the M. If not then go for L. Initially it will be tight for sure.
