Thanks… I’m a Pooh - sized lady, and have never had problems getting around Disney (and even looked forward to getting in my steps), but this year my knee has a strained patellar tendon, so I plan to rent a scooter. I’m feeling anxious about the haters, who will see me on a scooter and think it’s just due to my weight… but I’ve really soul-searched and don’t want to limit my husband and son’s pace or feel sad limping along behind them with my cane. That troll in the comments, though… it almost made me cry. It’s hard being a person of size in this culture!
Trust me, it’s worth it to just get the scooter! You have an injury and you need it. There’s no shame in that. Focus on what a good experience you’ll have without having to worry about the pain in your knee! Wishing you the best time!

Thank you for this video. People have different mobility levels and that's ok. Disney is for everyone and they do a great job of accommodating all body types. Scooter Bug is the way to go, 35 a day, free delivery to resort. Only company allowed to come to the parks and service if needed. Great job. You're a beautiful girl!
I think you would’ve fit on Flight of Passage. I’m similar in size to you and have had no trouble riding it, it’s not as bad for plus size people as it’s reputation makes it out to be, I think tall people have more trouble with the leg restraints. Next time, give the test seat a try.

This should only be a short term solution. You really need to tell everyone to lose weight if they're refusing to walk. Like stop eating Doritos, processed foods, cakes, ice cream. Bakes chips don't count Eat more unprocessed foods. Everyone using mobility scooters really slows down the rides lines at Disney World.
