I absolutely love Pasta Alfredo! I don't understand why some people keep saying Alfredo is not really Italian which was confusing to me. So happy Gennaro is making it because it puts the debate to rest once and for all.
Because for most Italians the first exposure to the name "pasta Alfredo" is via american movies and tv shows and in those it's usually done with chicken and cream etc...meanwhile the original recipe like the one Gennaro Is doing here is usually just called "butter pasta" to them
The pasta people saying that is not ITALIAN referees to American Pasta Alfredo... It was discussed in the Weird History channel that in the 1950s a famous Hollywood couple described that they had the best pasta in Italy which is creamy & cheesy.... American mistakenly made Pasta Alfredo with cheese & heavy cream. & to break that heavy taste of milk, they add chicken & a lot more stuff. (It's not like there's YT in 1950s where you can watch Gennaro how to cook Pasta Alfredo correctly!!!😝🤣😜🤪😂 )
It’s different when a famous old Italian guy makes it. It’s like modern art, someone splattered a few different colors of paint on a canvas and sold it for half a mil.
Gennaro is really a caring boss... No wonder Jaime Oliver have high regards for him & Jaime Oliver is also nice to his staff & other chef that get exposure in his channel!!! Some famous chef in US...(especially from that r@¢¡$+ American Food Channel or something) whatever it's called which I keep blocking, disliking but annoyingly YT kept suggesting)...they don't treat their viewers & even their own staff nice!!!
