I have had a pair of these for well over three years, I ride every day to work, a ride of approximately 40 minutes each way; last year I covered 10,000 miles on the bike. The Scott Ergo Pro ‘s have never let in water, are extremely comfortable with the stretch in the fabric. The elasticated cuffs on the arms and legs stop any riding up. Considering the price of these two items they offer remarkable value for the money.
Got the original version of these a few years ago and have them with me daily. Only thing I'd like is a thigh length zip on the trousers to make it easier to get over the boots. Other than that, great kit and still going strong. Highly recommend.
The set works great driving through rainstorms and everything, with 1 exception: the pants dont have a loop that goes under your shoes. I had these put on by a shoemaker because the pants would rise up and then the water seeped into my socks.
Luckily I don’t have to ride every day so avoid the rain most times, but the review of these was so good I bought a set (hi-viz jacket) and store them in my luggage for the once in a decade when I will need them 🤣
Thank you for a comprehensive review, to many reviews (in other channels) don't go into detail which is annoying. Ill be now purchasing this from your website come payday, after watching this.
I've been looking at potentially getting the Knox Seasonless collection, but given I already have a good quality down jacket I don't feel like I need to shell out for their thermal layer. This looks like it may be one of the best designed/styled rain jackets I've seen lately - Won't be long before I need them here in Scotland either.
I bought the cheapest rain jacket and pants at REI, still like 130$. But they work just fine, I ride rain or shine and it’s been raining alot in Maryland. How much is the scott
Would you recommend sizing up by one size to fit over relatively bulky ADV gear? Rev'It jacket and pants. Also, do the pants increase in length as they go up a size? I have longer legs and would want a longer?
Hi James, for bulky gear a size up will be a good idea! For the trousers, the lengths increases with the sizes but they are not too long in general. Hope this helps! - Iza
One important thing you failed to mention is the length of the pants legs, it's common knowledge that just about all manufacture's of motorcycle gear make the legs too short, We bikes know they ride up when on the bike, why don't manufactures know that!!! So how about Scott leg length, from the video they appear a tad short...Its already been pointed out no under the boots loop.
I'm 5'11" about 175 lbs. I ordered the med jacket and med pants. They seemed to fit pretty good when I tried them on. I road through heavy rain for an hour at hwy speeds. The jacket worked perfect, the pants were to short and my lower legs and feet were soaked.
@@mattfranchi4816 thanks, this is what I was thinking, my everyday leather bike pants are perfect on the bike, but walking in them, they are about 2" too long.
The trousers still leak at the crotch, the jacket is great but the water pools at the crotch area and after a half hours heavy rain these leak same as the cheap waterproof trousers.
HI! A few of us wear Scott waterproofs and we have not experienced any issues. If you have bought these from us and believe they are faulty please get in touch via email at: info@urbanrider.co.uk - Iza

Sounds good enough for me so just bought a pair. They'll be proper tested here in Scotland on my daily commute
Great to hear!

The lack of a loop is a good thing to point out. Thanks. Nick J
Purchased proper boots a few years ago. Never go back to shoes
Honestly those prices are insanely good when it comes to gear that promises REAL waterproof material.
Great review - thanks. I’ve just ordered a pair of the trousers via the link in the description. Good website 👌
Awesome, thank you!
