- Hey dears! It’s been a while and a lot has happened…
We left Berlin and are now back in Tel Aviv which is a super nice change of scenery for us. It feels great to be back with the families again, close to the beach and the warmth of the sun ☀️
SO, we called up Yoni to do a video together. This time we made a cover of California Dreamin’ by The Mamas & the Papas. This beautiful tune was written by John Phillips and Michelle Philips, released in 1965.

I am an audio engineer. It is performed and recorded so clean and unpretentious. It is, what it is, beautiful.
I'm not a sound engineer, but I totally agree, and that's what immediately jumped out at me. There's a very natural feel to it, although there must be a lot of work behind it. What's more, the musical arrangement is excellent, and the harmonies, not only between the instruments, which each have their own place, but also between the voices, are magnificent. Bravo indeed.
When you cover such a classic exactly how it was originally recorded you can't go wrong. You get all the praise of the original.
This is wonderful. I come back to listen for the third time now.

This is the greatest version of this song I've ever heard, way better than the original. Perfect harmonies, both guitars, and the coolest bass player this side of Tina Weymouth. I came here after watching Yoni's solo stuff and this is like a super group. Well-done!!
