So let me get this straight and i might be wrong but "The lost souls are the workers that the Black Widow killed and their souls are stuck where they died and you have to free them" am i correct or not?
Yes, the lost souls are the spirits of former employees whom have worked in the building. However, they have died of different causes.

This was, eh. Police don't shoot a person slowly walking towards them, they taze them or tackle them. They guy did not even have anything in his hands.
Just to confirm something;

At the end, is that the person you play as or someone else? And did the woman in black force him to keep walking so the police would open fire? Or was he ignoring the cops to try to stop the woman in black?

Black Curtain Studio What's the trigger for the good and bad ending? And where can the woman spawn?
Zaro2512 Destroying the "specimen X" allows you to save the other guy whom you meet and then triggers the good ending. Only saving the ghosts gives you the bad ending. The woman has many different spawn points all over the building that she randomly appears at, just like in the first game.

I have a few questions. I don't know if I am just too dumb to understand or anything, but however. 1. Why is the talking voice of Robert resounding everytime he's in the presence of a "lost soul"? 2. Who is Alva? 3. Why is the main character Robert, when the Robert talked to "us" on the phone? Has that something to do with the portal?

1. Not sure what you mean. What you hear is the spirit talking.
2. The ghost of the black widow is the manifestation of Alva and her mother's spirits. This is explained at some points in the game.
3. You don't play as Robert if that's what you mean. Robert is in the realm between life and death communicating with you, "purgatory" if you will. And yes, he was the one of accidentally opened the portal.

Batcat Those are shadow beings that exist in a parallel dimension. There are real reports of people claiming to have seen these.

What was the specimen x btw? Made me really curious though.
The specimen X is the last physical remains of the widow and her only link to the world of the living.
The ones got lucky than this..couldn't even solved the problems..
i hope you make a third game no matter what other people say , one late night is an awesome game and so is deadline so i really hope you do a third game and dont care what all these people saying about the bugs which dont even need to be fixed , good luck
