The canal is connected to my house and I have lived by the canal since I was born. I really love this area as I feel like I can escape from the chaos of this big city ☺️.
Unfortunately chances when tourist come to Bangkok, you know Khao San Road, Sukhumvit Road, Yaowarat Chinatown, or even the city center like Silom, Asoke and Siam Square. That is you have seen about 30% of Bangkok city. When you come out to the riverside along the canal, whether it is a visit to icon siam, a visit to Wat Arun, you may say I've traveled to Bangkok many times, but that's what you see in 50-60% of Bangkok. And if you have traveled along the Thon Buri side, deeper and deeper. You will see another world of Bangkok. that hides a lot under this prosperous city You will find a slow pace of life, smiles, genuinely friendly people, you will see another part of life in a very modern capital city on the other localize and conservative community. If you say you know Bangkok well enough, the only one question you will have to answer is Have you ever seen the sea of Bangkok? If the answer is no You should look for it before saying you know Bangkok well enough.
Thonburi the old capital of Thai kingdom in the period of King Taksin the great before King Rama I move the capital to opposite side of Chao Phraya river and named BKK nowaday Thonburi became as a part of BKK

Dilapidated and abandoned waterfront houses should be renovated or demolished, to make the canal scenery more attractive, attractive and attractive to tourists.🛶📸⛴🛥🚤

I just couldn't believe I was still in Bangkok. All around that area, not just the canal. Further towards the railway tracks too. So cool.

sure, there is so much more to see, I love it in these less well known areas.
Beautiful scenery, the way you capture the country through your lens are impeccable
Thanks Max, it is a super cool place and blew my mind that it was in the centre of the city.
I really love this part of Bangkok and always try and visit when I am there. Well worth a visit!
It is isn't it. It is like a different place all together compared to the other side of the river.
This is one of the best tour ever. 👍🏻😁
It is a lot of fun! One of my best experiences in BKK
That's a beautiful place! I have been to Bangkok many times, but never heard about this place. Thank you for the recommendation!
It's relatively new that's why.
The canals are old but the tour companies going up and down them have recently started to bring people into the area. I highly recommend it.
Lovely boat tour, Joe.
Thank you Panna :) It is a fantastic little spot, that is for sure.
Lovely video. Like stepping Into a different world.
I know, crazy isn't it - I think it is a must in Bangkok
Loved this video Joe, I have put on the "to do" list when we make it over.
Please do, it is worth it and a great afternoon/evening on the tour actually. I really do recommend it.

amazing and waiting for your next yummy food youtuber...💪
Thank you :) it’s coming very soon
If water was clearer it would be beautiful.
it is certainly better than it used to be a few years ago, they are trying to clear it up and get more respect for it, like the old days.
if you visit here last 50 years ago it very amazing more than this the canal is not empty like this and the water is very clean
I can believe it! Maybe one day it will be the same again
❤ awesome
thank you :) it is a great little excursion

Hello my frienf😊
Hello 😊
kept getting kicked off the live Joe
oh that is odd, sorry about that.
Unfortunately it's so sad that most of canals the water is rotten not pure like the ancient days.
I believe they are trying to improve it.

Renovated for sure, for the locals, I totally agree. Their housing should be safe and protected.
