Pro tip: The BandLab version of Cakewalk is also free, but it's a legit full-fledged DAW. The only downside is they won't be giving it any major updates going forward.
1:02 AI sucks at writing music? SUNO has left the chat... lol. No but seriously. AI is only gonna get better, and right now it is already making damn good music. Check out SUNO. Yes, it absolutely can capture the essence of metal... and basically any other genre. Good work tho young man. keep it up!
Yeah while making this video I realised how good it actually is, I started making this video thinking I would have to make something really bad, but I was very surprised at how good it was at making metal!
bro, I started using band lab too but honestly I think you should buy a proper DAW like abelton live or pro tools. The thing is that on bandlab you only have 8 tracs right? it was pretty cool honestly, nice lick
Thanks, I think the main reason I haven't properly switched recording software yet is that I've used bandlab for so long and I find it sometimes confusing when I try something new. Thanks for the comment anyways
@@ExcellerateGuitars Ik, it was the same for me. It took me a while to understand how ableton worked but in the end, it was realy worth it honestly. by the way do you have an insta?
@MGM261 Yeah I downloaded reaper recently and it is pretty easy to use, I've got some great guitar tones too, if I wanted to do this again i would remaster it in reaper.

I never knew you were into mixing and production! I love how you made this riff sound in such a short time and with limited resources.
Thanks a lot!

@@MGM261 does it have any limits to the number of tracks you can have on a project?
