You'll have to let us know if the mechanical seal that rides on the porcelain ring behind the impeller holds up was always told to not touch it with bare hands or grease as it contaminates and fails early always put mine together like it was open heart surgery haha

dang dude i was thinking about trying that impeller . it supposedly keeps it cooler from the ad . but now that youve shown how it is on cam , ill stick to oem lol . shoot i do xc on mine with oem water pump , cover and i race A class . so you know i give er hell and she doesnt over heat . i try running as much oem as i can ..... especially engine parts like this and the crank . oem trans well thats ok for most cylinders . instead of taking the risk of damaging the oem clutch cover , save the money and get the billet cover , thats what im doing . ....... eventually 🤣. because i was going to send mine to Rath to have them do the quick change mod and then i seen the price of the billet and thought id keep the oem oem .

I'm going to do the mod quad cover and cases eventually when I redo to top end. Check out Dave more he is associated with mod quad on the covers. And yeah oem is the way to go. I usually don't have a problem with aftermarket billit pieces cause how can u really mess up a solid part, but here's 1 that is messed up. Good thing it wasn't expensive cause I bought it almost a year ago
