In order for that setting to be there you'll need a touch screen connected via USB to your PC. We have just started shipping these with so I'm not sure what you're connecting just yet, but once the G3X is connected that setting will populate :)
If 'Tablet PC Settings' is still not populating once you receive the G3X and plug it in, go to this article. It's about the 3rd or 4th step down. help.realsimgear.com/en/articles/6461067-realsimgear-touch-screen-setup
I'd love to see the surround/bezel decoupled from the displays. Many different sets have a 16:9 display at the core.. or close to it G1000, G3000, or G5000. It would be awesome to be able to pair the display with different button surrounds based on what you want. Some are really into a single aircraft, I love flexibility.
Is there a software version of this that works with Air Manager? I have some touch screens and I really don't want to spend $1,200 on another device right now. I would love to be able to use this with any plane as a pop out.
All Cessnas 172 at my school have this panel , it would be great to be able to use it in msfs in a C-172 too .and practice at home like in the real plane I fly
Can this be used with any G3000 equipped aircraft in MSFS? I have 7 inch touch screens to control them now on my G1000 suite from RSG or is the GDU1500 non touch panel better with my 7 inch touch screens. I use the popout manager currently .
No it's more simple than that, but still a few steps: - Right Alt key > Single Left Click (to pop out the display) - Drag to desired monitor - Resize to remove the black bars on the side - Right Alt and Enter (to make full screen) Let me find the article that goes over this for you. Apologies I plan on making the MSFS videos for all of our components later this year

@@RealSimGear thank you for getting back to me. I’m buying a plane with a 430w in it and wanted to be familiar before I pick up the plane next month. Thank you for helping.
Why do you need 3rd party software to use your hardware? What if the dev of pop.out panel manager stops the application ? 🤔 why don't you have your own software for your hardware? I don't understand .
The reason we need to use Pop Out Manager is simple: It's the only solution that exists at the moment to use touch screens in MSFS that doesn't require extensive additional resources from us to develop. Pop Out Panel Manager has been around for two years, and has a regular update cycle with each version of MSFS. It has been vetted by our support team who use it on a daily basis to overcome some of the challenges with the current version of Microsoft Flight Simulator. Pop Out Panel Manager is open source and we have discussed this in the past at possibly creating our own version when the time and resources become available.
Again proves my point if the developer of pop out panel stops developing or turns off the product somehow your hardware doesn't work . When you charge people the money you do for your hardware you should have your own software to use it. Are you paying the developer of pop out panel for the use of his or her software ? If not you should be . They created a free software for us to use not for hug companies to piggy back off it to make money for themselves. The developer of pop out panel should also get a piece of the money to keep the project open and available for you to use because you charge people for your product and their software is crucial for your hardware to function .
@@ClinchRiverHomestead If your theory were correct, which it's not by the way, then Apple, Samsung, SpaceDesk, and any other touch capable device would need to pay the developer of Pop Out Manager for their product to work. Perhaps you would like to look a the root cause for this limitation, which is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, and ask yourself: Why hasn't Asobo fixed this themselves or approached the developer of POPM like they did with Working Title and pay them to improve the base product? If your theory were correct, then any hardware company that creates a product for use with specific aircraft or simulator platforms should be paying the software developers for their product to work. So Honeycomb, VirtualFly, Turtle Beach, CPFlight, RealSimGear, SimIonic, ect.. should be paying out Asobo, Laminar, PMDG, or any other developer, for their products to function and have a useful purpose for their existence?
It's a one time set up, per aircraft. Unless you start moving things around in the Windows Display Settings, then you may need to readjust the position coordinates.
@@nabeelkhalid1505 Yes, but you can copy a profile from one aircraft to another and adjust the capture point (green mapping circle) for the new aircraft while you retain all your original settings.
Looks nice.. Will you be coming out with a USB-C version? I don't have any USB-A ports, and feels horrible having to buy a specialised USB-C to USB-B cable when everything else I own is all USB-C for everything.
I don't have "Tablet PC Settings" on my control panel???

I still have the first edition of the G1000 setup. Still works great after many years
Awesome! Thanks for the support guy :)
Awesome product, how about X-plane? Are you developing the plugin? Other company?

Not a bad idea, Dennis! I'll take it up with the devs!
The touch screen looks really responsive. Nice job on the G3X
Yeah I'm pretty stoked with how it turned out! Thanks, man!

can you make tutorial vid how to setup for realsim g1000 to MSFS? thanks
Absolutely. I'm tackling a handful of these at a time and it is on the list!
Good stuff; still don't understand why, with the cost of these things, you don't include an HDMI cable.
Different length requirement needs?
Yep Bobby that's correct. Some folks need 3ft, more, less, or they're going into a Display port
Is this process the same for the 430 in MSFS 2020 as well? That’s a lot going on.
