I was skeptical with most of the decks prior to watching this video, but wow do they look really nice!! I'm so in for one of each of the black pearl sets and will try to go for the deluxe editions too if they're released later in the campaign!! Thank you so much for the detailed video and opening your decks Chandler!!
They’re coated in a plastic that makes them waterproof, I assume. Some recent tarot decks have come out with this kind of craftsmanship and it’s due to this weird plastic cotton mix fiber in the gsm of the card stock. These are actually kinda sexy. I’d use these for fortune telling.

One note for everyone wondering if they want to back it also: The first King Hood box set in the video is actually the King Hood Black Pearl box set. The second one (with the gilding) is actually one of the deluxe edition sets that's a stretch goal of the campaign. Hope this helps!

Those look amazing I was thinking of an interesting idea that you may like to look into: for a different style deck of Rise Playing Cards, you could incorporate some interesting arrows, my main idea being the equilibrium arrow ⇌ which could may be used to signify a trick deck e.g. Stripper deck or Svengali. Have you checked out the Butterfly Gilded playing cards? They have a gold and silver version, and they handle quite well, even for an amateur like me. They are quite expensive though, especially considering shipping.
Someday I'll be able to buy these premium quality decks.... My plastic ones are good but dang I can't wait to get them... Should I buy the Bruce Lee deck as my first one, do you guys have a recommendation.
