The trouble with that idea is if you have bought supermarket's own brand frozen vey the chance of buying British is slim as most is grown in Poland, and we know 1 carrot farmer who had 85% of his crop rejected by the supermarkets. The trouble is we are part of the global market and we import from Spain Morocco Kenya even Thailand, mind you it may have been cheaper to import but by the time we buy it the price will be the same as if we grew it ourselves.

You wouldn't know if you were punched, bored or countersunk by the end of it. First thing in the morning to last thing at night with most of them and sometimes right through. What a lot of people wont realise is that if these livestock farms have to be sold and the businesses broken up then we will lose all their breeding herds/flocks. These herds and flocks can take decades upon decades to build up with stock lines going back years. These cannot be easily replaced. And if we lose the pedigree herds as well, many of which are on the edge of extinction anyway then these will never be able to be replaced. Then the base of all breeding herds will be lost forever. And we won't be that far behind them.
