I remember being in high school and being soooo over club music...now at 34 it gives me life. .still can't F the feet up though. .the baltimorean in me dies every time I try 😆😆😆
@@rachelnan6875 Sorry my dude I am a Moor and I graduated from Douglass High in '98 During the 90's to 2000 (before they indicted the corners) drugs were rampant and was the genesis of prostitution, theft, murder. That type of violence permeated the neighborhoods so you had to move a certain way to keep from getting robbed, or shot, or your house/car broken into. It also made it's way into the music. Those dj weren't making music in a bubble. you can hear the tension in the music (aggressiveness/gun shots/ and shot out to crews from such places like Whitelock, Sandtown, Pulaski, Pilmico (slinging spots) would bring their attitude and the dope money to the clubs. I remember how they would all crowd into Crazy Johns after the clubs closed. Even the dope boys from New York and Jersey would contribute to that energy. I even got a neice by a dope boy from Jersey!
@@rachelnan6875 Chicago House does not have that element because those dj's were not affected as much by crime. in the 80's and 90's most the Moorish and Black Gangs were arrested. There was a lull before the Chiraq area. Chicago is not a major port so the hard drugs do not hit if first like it did Baltimore. If you listened to Chicago house the music is softer and more soulful than Baltimore.Baltimore utilized more sythns type beats while Chicago used more wind, piano and string instruments.

This music is new to me .. but this shit is hard !!
Because of Baltimore's aggressive gang culture. You can tell the difference from Chicago house which is much smoother.
@@fidesign5924What does gang culture in Baltimore have to do with Baltimore Club music or Chicago? I almost positive you’re white.
