Sir, it must be annoying to place the keyboard right in front of the laptop as it's very hard to reach and access the laptop and mouse. Also, allow me to ask, how do you use studio monitors in a non-acoustically treated studio? I sold my pair because my studio is also not acoustically treated and I'm more comfortable recording and mixing in my headphone monitors. Arturia Keylab 49 is my next purchase. Thanks for sharing :)
first you'll always be better with monitor even if the room is not treated, depending on where you produce you can do a bunch of things if you find the place has disturbing resonances (but if it's in your romm with cupboard full of clothes and bed you shouldnt have tha many) trouble. You neednt take what some youtubers are telling (selling) you too seriously, a pair of monitors will give you a freq response rather flat that will alow you to not be disapointed once the stuff you recorded is played on a different sound system (beware without monitor you need to check every once in a while, why not in the car or in the living room for example). Another thing that i personally used for ever is a trackball mouse (you'lle find good ones on ali for 30 bux), but you can still manage to find a place or little table or else to place your mouse...

ASK this from where ever you want to buy - What happens if you want or need to return the item... and you would be surprised of the charges they don't tell you about when you are buying it. So returned the original item - and it cost me $ - and then purchased another one from Amazon.
