all the "protection from x color" and "do blank with y color" cards in this format makes me very happy wotc doesn't print these types of effects anymore. they are just awful when it matter vs you. when its just a mythic, its alittle more forgivable. but with uncommons. its just annoying. like "ops, im playing the wrong colors, guess i lose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" but anyway. 1-3 is alot like most of my runs in this set. i will say, that "fine" decks in this format dont seem to do very well. kinda like MH3, if your deck doesnt look great. its probably just gonna get crushed. thats been my experience anyway. feels like you need a strong deck just to compete. when soo many high power cards in the format, if you dont get alot of them or have a very "tightly" built deck, it doesnt seem to matter how "scrapy" your deck is. it just wont be good enough to beat the fast curve out aggro and super controly vaule engine decks
That's what higher teir non-pod drafts are, you shouldn't play the deck if there's more than 2 filler cards that don't make your deck on average better, unless you like gambling.
