been finding these in store at gamestops this past week minus reverse flash tw with closed hands stinks totally agree about cape tho peacemaker set is a gem such cool figures tho again with vigilante at least give us the option of putting accesories in their hands
Hey just wanted to give a quick update. Went to my local wal-mart today (dec. 18th). Wave 3 is now on "clearance" at $8 a figure. This is in Kentucky. Hopefully they finally get wave 4 & maybe 5 in?
That black Batman figure looks like it was directly modeled from the image on the back of the old Toy Biz Batman '89 movie figure. It was notable how that image didn't really resemble the actual figure itself, and seemed to be a Super Powers Batman that they just painted black for the photo art because they didn't yet have the actual product in-hand. My biggest gripe with the figure though is the cape. It's cut in an odd way with excess fabric at the collar and sides, as if it's meant to be permanently folded underneath like it were just another static statue-like figure not meant for play.
I've got the Starro BAF (which never got released here in the UK) So I'm using these figures to recreate the cover of B&B 128, just need a Hal Jordan and a Martian Manhunter-
@@Jag2045 I found a guy on Ebay, who by some miracle was actually really nice, Initially it was just the main Starro BAF, but I asked him about the 4 'Facehugger' Starro mini's, and he threw those in for free, all told including shipping to UK it was $98, it would have cost me way more to get all the individual figures, which I didn't even want. But this happens a lot in UK, no sign of the Batman Santa or the Deadly Duo gimp mask Joker *sigh*
i have a bunch of these from the last couple waves still brand new in box, I'm contemplating taking them out of box but not sure of the resell value? is there a big market for these brand new? or am i just better off opening them for display?
Every figure looses some value when you decard it .... BUT loose figures are so much better for displaying and take up less space. Value loss on one of these would be minimal as they arent that rare or expensive.
Glad I found this video. Great review! As a die hard collector of the originals, I still can’t get into these. The packaging, art work, lack of weapons and some better articulation is a major turn off for me. McFarlane could have done much better (imo) I do admit the vigilante and black manta figures are pretty cool. Vehicles are lame.
Thank you for watching! And agreed on doing a bit more. Weapons/accessories for sure. I’m on the other end, love the vehicles because they’re that classic melding of toy ridiculousness and superheroes. Have a great holiday!
I started out with Super Powers in 1994, unfortunately they are now too small. However, if they were to do Legion of Super Heroes, who, as Teenagers are supposed to be smaller, I would definitely go for those. I'm a 6" fan.
This maybe the most disappointing toy line of all time. What do I have to do to get a Supergirl or Black Cannery or a Vac Metal Cyborg Todd? At least the vehicles have all been great.
I disagree.!! The 'repaints' ...of Batman and Robin are of the same size and scale as the Original figures... and are wonderful to have. Being an old Charlton fan... I loved the new Peacemaker and Judo Master.!! I guess it's 'different strokes for different folks' ...!! 😘
These are looking real good to me never was a superpower collector but I might have to dip into this franchise
Any advice on how to find Zoom and Black Manta without having to sell my car? My Walmart is pretty awful at adding new stock. :(
Man, eff Walmart. Hopefully EE gets Zoom and Manta at some point.
Right, I've been looking for a Manta since it was released and secondary market is robbery. Absolutely ridiculous.
Frfr Walmart be lacking plus they hold back stock until the Shelves item get bought
Husband will love ❤️ the three pack. My friend and his partner loved the show. Christmas 🎄 gift 🎁 for sure! Ah! Super Powers 💥 ‼️

The fact that they can't have guns is what makes me not buy these figures.
Yeah how the heck can you have Vigilante and Peacemaker without guns?
@@thecomicdrill It would be like Hasbro making a Punisher and giving him no weapons. Defeats the purpose of the character.
Whats with the fascination with warm cups of coffee?. Starbucks would be a good sponsor for the channel.

This wave is a total waste. A bunch of dumb repaints. Pass.
