What are some of your dream gear for your studio? Let us know below!
My dream is an old Nene console. The bigger the better.
Some tube microphones… Sony C-37A… would be nice!
@@gilbertspader7974 The dream!
Speaking of studios, will you guys have another studio visit event like Warm in Austin last month? I'm definitely interested in one of those and couldn't make Austin.
Since we’re dreaming, I’ll be happy to take delivery on an API Vision Console.
The fact that Warm CEO knows every little detail about every product and still solders stuff and gets his hands dirty is pretty badass. The fact that he even knows who James Hetfield is is pretty cool. The fact that he knows all of his employees' names makes me very proud to own Warm gear. My Warm Pultec sounds a little warmer after watching this.
Yes, agreed 100!
I can't believe I just sat down for 2 hours to watch all of this when I refuse to watch an hour and a half movie. I own a lot of the legacy brands like Neve, API, UA, Neumann along with many others, but I also own a ton of Warm Audio branded outboard gear, too. I can't tell anyone that WA is right for them, but it works perfectly for me and we're doing some large projects with all of it. I don't feel like I'm missing out when I'm using their stuff, especially when I have the original unit sitting right beside of the WA.
Thank you so much for watching! It means a lot. Warm are a great company!
Glad to hear the gear is holding her own. We appreciate the support. Be sure to tag us when working on those projects!
@@aubyoung1218 I should include that I pretty much always choose my WA 412 preamps over my console API's and my 3124's. In fact if I had another 2 WA412's my API preamps will go up for sale.
You two make one hell of a team, and I'm extremely grateful because of it.
I know one thing Warm Audio has stepped up their game with the INCREDIBLE WA 1B !!! Now that's what I call doing it seriously ❤
@@richardharmon9596 that's great to hear!
Would be cool if Warm made a little modular 8 fader console. Imagine specing it out with whatever Warm Audio pres you want, mix and match. EQ or no EQ if you want. Maybe even an integrated DAC and daw control.
Thanks ever so much for sharing!
Amazing how much detail went into building this studio. I actually got teary-eyed from the dedication. 😳🤩 Love it!
Yes! Us too! Very impressive indeed
That is so sweet! We got teary eyed when it was finally completed and open to the public! Such a loooong, stressful, expensive af project. 😂
@@aubyoung1218that’s amazing to hear!
Every video with Bryce talking about his company makes my love for warm audio grow even stronger. What an amazing brand.
😭😭 that’s so sweet! I’ll pass on the message. 😘
That's lovely to hear! Thanks ever so much for sharing!
@@aubyoung1218 yes, lovely to hear!
@@aubyoung1218:
Mrs. Aubrey Young,
Peace!
Please ask Bryce if he is willing to do a special deal for recording three short piano solos (for my debut Gospel album) with the Yamaha piano, using purely the MIDI function, for a poor monastic priest from the Philippines.
God Bless!
Rev. Fr. Thomas Eslam,
THE 001 Music (Ministry).
Bryce is answering my prayers! Vintage dynamic mics that aren’t being recreated like 441s and D19s!
That’s wonderful to hear!
Excellent! Warm Audio is a great company! Thanks Warren for everything you do!
Our pleasure!
Warm do more mics!! We want more lol i love my wa87
Working on it! 😜
Yes!! We are going to try many more!!
@@aubyoung1218very exciting!!
@49:57 proof that we’re all still just kids, hanging out, playing with cool toys. Never gets old to see people having fun playing around with music.
Very well said! Thanks very much!
So cool and exciting to see Warren giving Warm a chance. It’s a quality brand that makes sense for the PLAP community. I’m so excited to see what Warm comes up with in future. I’d like to see a blue stripe, 3A, 2254. But I’d also love to see a Warm version of the Black Box HG2. 160 is a cool idea too, I’d definitely want a pair.
Agreed ! I'd personally love to see 500 Rack versions of 1073 style, DI included, and lots of 500 versions of their current products. Would be a blast.
I’d like to see what they can come up with of their own design - something original. I think that’s what he meant by being at a crossroads? They must have so much knowledge on all the stuff they’ve replicated to build something new and fresh.
@@ThomasLmarvellous idea!
@@Superdelphinusthere’s plenty of that coming soon!
I've wanted a Tone Beast for a long time. That's certainly on my list.
Marvellius! Thanks for sharing Loren!
What a great studio. Lucky man. Smart too.
Bryce is incredible. Thanks for watching
Great tour with great conversations 👍
Thanks ever so much!
Great tour and an awesome
story
Glad you enjoyed it
I want to get a Warm audio mic for vocals, but since I have a Rode NT1-A and an AKG 214, I "sort of" have the budget vocal mic thing covered enough for now. But it's on my bucket list and I'll get one eventually.
Thanks ever so much for sharing!
Ive watched for years, and lately… Warrens hair game is 🤯👍
Haha hairtastic!
Wow, big respect for all that what Warm Audio made in the past and today, that`s realy Epic. It`s funny that Bryce like RME Converter - i like it do.

Love it. Deep, insightful and Marvelous 😊. Wish WARM AUDIO could be available in my forsaken country while retaining its value proposition. Great stuff.
What country are you in my friend?
Where are you based?
@@Producelikeapro Peru my friend. It’s very expensive here for taxes and imports tariffs. For example an sm57 can be found in the stores around 160 US$ average.

Vermona is an old company from the GDR and they are still building very intresting stuff ...
Thanks ever so much for sharing
I would love to hear that verb!
@@InTheMixJoeCarrell There are plenty of demos of that Vermona reverb on YT... it's about ten years old now (that unit). Just FYI though, it's not tube-based. It's solid state.
@@InTheMixJoeCarrell me too!
@@slamcrank I will check it out!
Love these studio tours and I love the ethos of gear makers. What I gotta get is a 251 style mic, it's just what a gravitate to. Perhaps give one away so I can win it! 251 shootout. Also CMV 563's have my attention... as I like IR's made with them. Totally out of my/most reach.
oh crap WA's 251 is within reach... hmmm might just have to do that. Its the sound I keep gravitating to and I need to finish the ballads on this album with a mic that does them the most justice.
Thanks ever so much for sharing!
I'm impressed by warm audio and Bryce. I'm definitely going to be buying the new stereo pre amps, and couple of mics as well. This video convinced me this company is worth supporting. Great video.
Welcome to the fam!! We appreciate the support. 😘🙏 @trentstone121
That's wonderful Trentstone121!

Very great and interesting WARM "Studio" Tour! Very good Stuff! Congratulations
Thank you very much!
Hi Warren! First of all, thank you so much for what you are doing! I love watching your videos and I wouldn't be half as good at mixing without your help. Maybe you don't have time to answer this but I'm in the process of buying my first condenser microphone. Do you think the WA-87 R2 is a good choice?
That’s one of our best!!
You’ll love it 👊🏼✌🏼✌🏼
YES!!!@@InTheMixJoeCarrell

Still running the WA TB12. The transformer options are worth exploring. Subtle but very usable.
I really like running certain genres of bass guitar direct into the TB12, then after that usually a FET comp into a pultec style EQ. It really does the job.
Great tour! Any news on the Lianne Kaye competition? It’s been a while.
Here is the results video!
Studio projekts is from my hometown here in sweden, love their stuff.
And now I find love in Warm audio wa-47jr mic.
What a wonderful collection of studio spaces and gear.under one roof.👍
Really interesting video Love the ATC speakers.
I have all four of brilliant warm audio Pedals on that board and I’m looking forward to adding the two new ones to my pedal rack 👍
Analogue Rules 👍
Anyone know what make the turntable in the corner is ?
I think I know what it is and would prefer to see a full spec Linn Sondek LP12 sitting there 👍
Linn just announced there 50th year anniversary model Co designed by the guy that designed a load of apple phones and stuff years ago.

At 4:06 Bryce talks about the Vermona DSR-3 reverb (that he "bought on Reverb" heh) and says that it's tube based. It's not. It's solid state. Just FYI.
They've been out for quite a while, and they're good units. But they're not tube based. Vermona does make a tube reverb (a mono only unit) that sounds pretty great as well though.
Ok, thanks for sharing!

Bro, this shit is HAARD! I'm only 16:00 in and this....shit.... is....HARD! Shoutout to Warren, maing.

Hey Warren thanks for doing this video btw what was that with your voice at 0:12 !!!!!

So Warren plays guitar and Joe plays drums.....they just a bass player and a singer
I'm an OK-ish singer, maybe use Moog Bass Pedals? haha

Stop turning the amp down, Joe! 😁 @producelikeapro

@@InTheMixJoeCarrellhahaha
Haha great sounding pedals!!
It's not the mic, i'ts the cardboard that is combustable storage. If there was a fire, it would spread very quickly and the whole warehouse would go up! That's why there is a need for the sprinklers.
Shh, don’t tell the producers, it’s all about the musicians performance. Your job is to not fug it up.

Warm product are quite amazing. Would be awesome to have more 500 Series. I have a question for the PLAP team. Have you ever tried Cranborn audio lunchbox ?
I personally have not
@@InTheMixJoeCarrell Thanks. I'm really curious about it. I'm in the research process for adding more input and / or adding 500 series preamp to my studio with multiple flavor like 2NEVE, 2 API, 2 SSL and cranborn looks promising, so I ask for those out there for different opinion (even if I'm gonna try it myself). Fantastic interview and tour. Thankyou!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Warren Kudos for doing this. Ive had a WA273 and the WA76 for 5 years now. Incredible build. Fantastic sound and they didn’t break the bank. Still a lot of channels saying Warm is very good (with cavet) “for the price” . I think it’s good full stop. You let Bryce come across REALLY well. This well made, definitive studio tour will no doubt, deservedly boost confidence in WARM Audio gear. Keep up the good work!
I feel like they preface it with “good for the price” because they don’t want to lose contacts with the higher end big companies. Warm Audio makes incredible gear. I’ve never once listened to a song and thought “That’s not a real neve on the vocal, it’s gotta be something lesser”. I can guarantee you 9/10 mixers wouldn’t be able to pick out whether or not it’s a Neve or a WA73 in a mix. The margins are so small.
Bryce has really taken Warm to wonderful heights. A great testament to a great company
Warm Audio mission statement "to help aspiring musicians & engineers gain access to fully professional recording equipment... that many musicians only dreamt of owning just a few years ago" sounds similar to me like another one mission - "to let everyone in the world enjoy a better life through innovative technology".
Bryce, thank you, it's a big deal to do this in practice.
I have owned M49's and M50's
Thanks for sharing!
Great studio, great gear and a great Boss/Owner.
Warm audio is really great if you are either starting to add analog gear in your studio, or if you already have some gear and want to expand/experiment with great buck/quality ratio. They're making music production more accessible when starting out. GREAT video on GREAT gear!

What is the piece of gear Warren is referring to at 2:48? Thanks.
Warren! Check you out shedding up that guitar. I seen a lot of your content but didn't realize you could play like that! Awesome!! You could see your Zen moment sitting on the floor with that pedalboard! Good times!!
i love my WA2A and WA76. I will say, its weird they dont leave the space in the rack above the 2A like the unit recommends. Do they have cooling underneath the desk we dont see? (Or hear)
I'm finally getting to catch up with this. It been a wild several weeks! I knew I was missing something! :)
That’s marvellous!! Thanks ever so much for watching
20:47 Hi! And where do you set the output knob?
Warren like is like the little kid in a candy store. Joe is the big bro secretly geeking but, can't lose composure because he's the cool big bro.
I have a couple of WA pieces, including the WA-2A which is just fanstastic on whatever you throw at it.
Im John that Bryce is talking about, and yes, I love Metallica and I do wish I was JH. lol.
