Mathmachine considering control has been the arena meta since the start of Heathstone, and for someone who plays daily for hours. I'm sure he doesn't mind a little variety
Control has been the arena meta since the start of Hearthstone?.... Um no, it hasn't been anything close to that since TGT. Tempo is the arena meta, control doesn't work outside of mage, priest and sometimes warlock. Arena is all about curving out and establishing a mana lead.
But on the bright side....

Isn't his conclusion that Hunter is op based off of like 5 runs? So it may well be he just got lucky, and hunter isn't that great? And if that's the case, you'll just get to farm easy wins off of noobs who pick hunter cause Kripp told them to, even though it sucks

i once had a constructed reno mage with in arena
went 0/3 i triggerd reno in all 3 games once i duplicated him twice (one dup from jeweled scrub) triggerd all 5 still lost buffadin is fun if u get 0 removal in 90 card to choose

when he has insane 1in 30 rng he consider himself a good player, but when the enemy does it. The amount of salt that pours from his stream is enough to keep canadian streets clean for the entire year.

First of all that was 1 in 20, which isn't even that crazy.
Second, this was after tons of matches.
Third, he didn't exactly scream out "HOW AM I THIS GOOD?" after he did that. He was reacting like it was a pretty crazy and lucky moment.
Fourth, the opponent had king's on turn four, coghammer when almost dead, secret eater when kripp played a secret and kripp managed to topdeck a nerubian prophet in the later portions of the match. Kripp had his fair amount of bad luck too.

Coin gains +1 mana for each turn it's in your hand(1 t1. 2 t2 etc.). All coin generating effects now give counterfeit coin.

dude how do you get epics and legendaries in arena? I've played 2 arenas this week and I did't draft a single epic
I play Arena exclusively for the most part and only manage 3-4 wins.
My last 3 hunter games were all 6+ wins.

Turns out having your hero power as a win condition is preeeeeeety good.
how to fix going first: half way through the game the person going second will gain 1 extra mana crystal. so both player get a slight edge at different times in the game. with all the aggro first will still be better but i think it would be better then what we have currently. just my toughts on it though

Well how do you judge middle? when you would normally hit 5 you hit six or when you would hit 4 you hit 5.
What happens if the meta is fast enough that the game is almost over by then?

Hunter is good, I gow couple 12-s with it last month, but be weary - today I drafted little bit more agressive than usual, isnpired by Kripp words and went 0-3 in most soul-crushing way possible - constracted shaman (not "Kripp constracted - plays Micro Machine at turn 3", real one, all of his cards were legit constracted shaman cards) at 0-0 and 2 mages who it seems made a goal to draft as many taunts and heals as they can.
Loool! I've just seen Kripp's vid about guild wars 2 world first permaban in recommended and then he just said about ban! Magic? :O

Kripp just opened a video saying I think hunter is THE best class in arena. 2017 is of to a weird start. Oh and I could of swore that kripp said hunter is terrible in arena like in the last hunter video.(about two weeks ago)

Got my first 12 wins today with hunter, deck seemed pretty bad at first too...
During that first game the paladin misplayed. He should've traded before playing cog hammer.
3 cost summon a random beast( always gives me the 2/4 ) not really worth it especially if Beast mode isn't your stable staple in your deck.

Same here. hunter arena with pirate sinergy and patches, highmane, 4 one drops, 6 two drops. Bad luck = lose, that is Hearthstone guys!
6 2-drops is actually below average for hunter, you usually want 8-9.

Except when you have a constructive hunter deck in arena and you go against 3 mages and 4 priests I went 4 - 3 (lost twice to priest and once to mage)

He's always complaining when he loses but he generally has pretty good luck overall. He kept topdecking the right answers Everytime, if that was his opponent he would have been so mad!

Pali's not anymore. Pali was for a short time even better than mage but the card ratio changed and pali got a big arena nerf with cards like that 3 mana 2/3 girl that summons two 1/1 whelps if you have a dragon in hand nd stuff like that. Pali is only like 4th best Right now. Priest got top 3 from worst. Warrior hunter still week. Mage and rogue always were good but with gadgetzan warlock got to the tier 1 list too. Druid and shaman are very average atm

Yeah Hunter is sooo good. Drafted a decent deck, lot of reach, buffs, Beast Synergy. Went 2:3 against Mage with Kazakus, lost because he got healing potion from 4 mana 3/3 discover a potion, another Mage had Medivh and topdeck Blizzard right after. One loss just probably got wrecked or rushed down. I'm done trying Hunter.
i think hunter has almost always been that good, just kripp recently learnt how to actually play it
To some extent, yes. Hunter certainly improved from GVG which game him Glaivezooka. Before that, he was not that good (besides that small window when Buzzard was still 2 mana and Unleash was also 2 mana, then he was god tier lol).
What I love about Hunter is the way the hero power shines late game. It puts your opponent on a very small clock to win or heal, and often they just cant do that (especially Mages who in the past would have the greediest slow decks). In contrast, nothing feels worse than being a Paladin, having the opponent at 1 hp, and not being capable of finishing the opponent off...
Albert Fish WoToG before Kara came out was a taunt meta though, when bog creeper, psych-o-tron, etc. were first released, which made hunter alot less viable.

Interesting stat - Kripp has an 89% win rate vs hunters (as shown in his other video today) so statistically the more people pick hunter the better he'll likely do. Not that I'm inferring anything about the way the title is phrased or Kripp's intentions here of course.

I am kind of annoyed at how bad Hunter is now. Not because I'm a die-hard Huntard player.. but just because they got a few really fun and cute cards. I really like Alley Cat, Dispatch Kodo, Knuckles, the Trogg Beastrager and the Rat Pack. I feel like all of these cards have something unique in either the gameplay or the design of them. Alley Cat is just a really neat one-drop AND is adorable as fuck (and summons an even more adorable kitty), Kodo has a really interesting effect, Knuckles is just another ape to the ever-growing ape list, Beastrager is finally a semi playable Trogg and the Rat Pack effect is just plain awesome. It's just sad that Hunter is almost a dead class in constructed, but I feel like if the Kabal and the Lotus weren't so strong, then we'd see much more Grimy Goons Hunter decks.
