I never used to listen very much to rap, but Ren has totally converted me :D He just has my attention no matter what he does ^^ I need to listen to these rap songs/videos around 4-5 times to catch like 60 - 70% of what he's saying :'D My interpretation here is a play on the usual "illest" as you say "the greatest", but he actually says how he's the "illest" as in the most physically ill because of his condition. He ends with he's looking for answers [to his problems] in the corners of his mind, and until he finds them he's still the illest ^^ As always, I enjoy these reactions so much \^.^/

Either way, it's fun to just try and interpret and think about connections and meanings. I feel like most of his sentences has like 4 to interpretations at least

Do you know the story about where they recorded illest of our time? Looking for a place to record, they bumped into a friend of theirs that they hadn't seen for an age because he went off the rails on drugs. He said he knew a place. He led them to the most notorious hole in Brighton. A massive derelict building used by drug addicts and homless people. They would have turned around, but people from there had come to talk and gave them a guided tour of sorts. So they used it a few days later. By the end they thought they'd be unlikely to get out in 1 piece let alone with their equipment. They set up, recorded it, and got their kit out in less than a day 😂 Crazy idiots 😂😂😂 type of thing I'd do ❤ from Northeast England ❤️
