He is an Indonesian not a pilipino. He is so good. He is one of the contestant of singing contest in Tha Phillipines.
Deden Gonzales is an Indonesian. He is not a star. Just a normal person who likes to sing. He gets recognized from RUclips. He was featured in a few TV shows but was more showing stupid comedy instead of showing the real talent of Deden Gonzales. There are so many great talents in Indonesia that can do better in singing than those we normally see on TV. Mostly they live in small villages and came from poor family. Just like Vanny Fabiola, Felix Irwan who has been singing on the street only to be able to buy food for almost 10 years. He was rejected from the Indonesian Idol audition most likely because he isn't cute, maybe, then a few years later he joined The Voice Indonesia, but again only made it to the battle show. Now, he is more famous than most of the Idols and The Voice winners. Same story with Sandy Sandoro who was rejected from Indonesian Idol but then entered Top 6 in Germany Idol and even won the Latvia Song Festival and became the 1st Asian singer ever invited to perform live at the Diane Warren Show. Most recently, Claudia Emmanuela Santoso who failed at The Voice Indonesia audition, but the she won The Voice Germany 2020. Thanks to RUclips and people like you guys that keep supporting the true talents.

Denden is an Indonesian...when he released this video many tried to sing Steelheart...but he is the only one that sounds and emulate perfection.. Smoking and drinking coffee with clear sound and techniques..what you can just say....WOW! Do some more..what a talent..

His real name were not Den Den Gonzales, He is an Indonesian, it happened to wen a competition held in Philippine with one of a judge is Boy Abunda. Just check it out to confirm.
You can't blame them if they were mistaken because Indonesians and Filipinos look alike. But me as a Filipino I knew immediately he's not Filipino because we're not accustomed to sit like that except for the very very rare times that we're sitting on the floor. And also, Filipinos tend to frequently look at the camera and a smile is guaranteed to appear. But those distinct nuances are of course not obvious to them.

I think singers like him doesn't undergo or need to undergo training,they just learned it by instinct.They just sing, that's it.And that's insanely good.. haha
