No.matter how many videos I wastch, they always inspire me. You are one giant ball of enthusiasm for us all. Your down to earth way to express your ideas are amazing! We love you.God Bless
I admire it has a lot of patience, but the result is incredible worth the patience and see the final result, I really liked what I want to use but not with the theme of animals if not as something different from the most terrifying masks or cabukis masks .... thanks for sharing this nice technique ..
Awwwe Jonny thank you, once again, for mentioning my work :) I was about to send you an idea for glue, Im now doing a koala sitting on a eucalyptus tree still. For the armature im using the same balloon paper strips technique and the toilet paper for the "skin" as it works well for fur aswell as for feathers. Nevertheless for armatures im using a glue made out of raw flour mixed with some wallpaper glue. Dont know if you have it in America, its like snow flakes of cardboard boxes. It might look expensive but a few flakes of it it makes lots of glue (one only has to regulate the amount of water to the quantity of flakes poured onto it.) Brand wise the most knowned glue is called Metylan which is from German enterprise, but .... if in America you can get the same sort of stuff, maybe you would like to work with it (with or without flour mixed) Thanks
***** Thanks, Pedro. I'll see if we have that product here. It sounds like something that would be fun to experiment with. Does the Metylan mixed with flour and water make a better paste than the flour and water by themselves? And I do hope to someday actually try your toilet paper fur idea. I love the way it looks on your sculptures.
Ultimate Paper Mache Now that you mention no, I dont really think it changes the flour+water that much, eh eh eh. The wallpaper glue is a bit slimy and with the flour it gets really creamy. Drying time wise it depends upon the thickness of the paste and, of course, the weather conditions. Here in Lisbon it has been around 31, 32 degrees so really awesome for papermache! I cant wait to show you my new piece whenever I'll finish it, thank you :D
I love this raccoon but that hippo in the back is absolutely gorgeous . Please tell me if you do commissions. I would love for you to do my horses head . Also are any of your pieces for sale ?
Hi Janice. I'm so busy making my videos and designing my patterns that I don't have time for commissions. And that works well for me, because I hate to put sculptures in a box and mail them away. My daughter has painted some horse portraits, though, and she does commissions: jessierasche.com/
That's the shop towels made by the Scott company. You can find the blue towels at any DIY store in the US, and the paint and auto supply department at WalMart.
I think it would work. I know any other kind of paper works, including the non-plastic egg cartons. But you'll need to soak them longer. I put up a new video yesterday that talks about using recycled paper in the paper mache clay. You can see it here: ruclips.net/video/R_RM17onbU0/видео.html
I had found I think it's paper mache but it's a large life-size pony rocking pony and I want to finish it so it looks somewhat real it just looks like a white paper mache horse right now any tips
Look at some RUclips videos that show you how to paint a horse. Your horse isn't on a flat canvas, but you'll get some good ideas about what colors to use, how to paint the eyes, and how to make the surface look like fur. It sounds like a fun project. 😀
i really really like your videos because it is very cool!! but, can you show me how to make a sculpture of a girl dance ballad please? because i have to make a sculpture for my art work for my final exam, and i want to make a sculpture of ballad dancer, but i don't have an idea how to make sculpture of that ballad dancer. i hope you can help me because it is for my final exam and it is very important for my future 😊
+husnina medori I don't have any tutorials with human figures, but if you go through the ballarina bunny video series, you can get the basic idea. The first one is here: ruclips.net/video/cNYe4zZw9WQ/видео.html and you can find the rest of the videos in the series in my RUclips channel.
I don't sell the raccoon. If you're looking for the pattern so you can make one, you can download it for free here: www.ultimatepapermache.com/paper-mache-raccoon-part-1-the-armature
I just now added a new feature to my blog that lets you upload a photo and tell us about your work. I hope you'll try it, because I'd really like to see your penguin. You can see it here: www.ultimatepapermache.com/brag
I think that's the Highland cow, but you're right - it does look like a buffalo. After this video I made a pattern for a regular cow, but it would look like the Highland cow if you added the long hair. You can see how I made the first one here: ruclips.net/video/blo61rAfaGM/видео.html
very nice. i hope you are vegan and as much as you love these paper animals, you love chicken, sheep, cow, pig and other real animals too. promote animal rights with a couple of sentences in your videos. you will receive real positive karma from these games that you do. time to change is now, not much of the coupon is left. What is the blue paper you use to cover the animal ...thanks 😘

What tools do you use to excentuate the eyes, one, moth ?
I"m not sure what you mean -
@@UltimatePaperMache tools. You use to bring out the details around eyes and mouth etc. it looks like a metal tool of some kindq
@@carolsheargold8699 Those are called 'wax carvers.' Here's the ones I use - I bought them 10 years ago: amzn.to/3zP3yO1
Hi, I'm new to your channel. Have been watching them. And, your work is awesome. Looking forward to doing this.
Have fun!
I like very much mapache. greeting from Argentine
I have a question on your paper mache is it okay if we can use toilet paper rolls instead of toilet paper
What type of tissue paper did you use, ?
Just regular craft-type tissue paper, like this: amzn.to/355yhHl
I had found I think it's paper mache but it's a large life-size pony rocking pony and I want to finish it so it looks somewhat real it just looks like a white paper mache horse right now any tips

Hi mam may I know which type of paint you used, is it acrylic or oil paint???
