I am sad to hear about the closure of Uncle Tom's Trail. I have made the trip down and back quite a few times. It has been a tradition in my family that I was thinking of continuing this summer.

In the middle of the summer it’s quite crowded, but if you understand where to go and when it’s not bad. I would recommend if you tend to get up early. Go somewhere significant early in the day (prior to 10 am at least). Then go to the “lesser” spots in mid day. Then you can also go to significant places again later in the day.

We were just there and the Dunraven Pass is open. Drove up and over with no issue.

Yes! It's probably still pretty snowy up there right now, but Dunraven Pass is now open.
