im really happy i found you. I watched your videos in 2011 (i was in early elementary at that time!) when i first learned how to riffle shuffle a deck of cards and forgot what your channel was. Really glad you're still on youtube.
Just one correction. The orange colored cardistry deck you showed says Copag. Copag is a Brazilian card company that was bought by Cartamundi a few years ago (and Cartamundi owns USPCC as well). So, that specific deck was printed in Brazil.
Deckreviews and MTG? Two if my favorite things in one video? Thank you so much Deckreviews. You're content is still as amazing as the first time i stumble across your channel years ago. You've influenced myself and so many others. Don't stop being yourself.
Since you mentioned warping, in my experience that is very print-dependant problem. I've seen sets (from similar release dates) where all cards warp and some where they all stay nice.
It really is print dependent. I’m not sure for MTG very much because I’m a casual kitchen table player but with playing cards I’ve noticed variant in printing regardless of card stock and finish. Thanks for the comment
@@deckreview The cards that are most maligned for their warping are the foiled cards, so not something that generally crops up in preconstruicted products much. It's true to say all foiled cards have some tendency to to warp but it's well documented that older foil cards (generally those printed prior to 2003) are much less prone to it than those printed today. The set Commander Legends was especially infamous for warping; some of the non-foil cards even would come warped out of the packaging and the foils were heavily warped and cloudy or dark.
Honestly MTG cards are fine for cardistry in smaller amounts say decks of 45, get some throw aways or lands they’re not bad work fine for aerials and cuts. Cartamundi also printed the highly praised for cardistry Massas.
I used to watch your videos like 8 years ago. Deck reviews were my childhood. Thanks for making it awesome.
I can see MTG players crying watching this video. No sleeves, fans, ruffling.....
Continue, please >:)
4:08 Next level flex lol
A casual flex :)
