    Namaste
    The Tattwa associated with Ekadashi Tithi is Agni.
    Agni signifies Dharma as dharmic acts happen in the presence of Agni.
    So people born on Ekadashi should spend the lifetime in performing Dharmic acts like Homa, Daana etc.
    There are 24 types of Ekadashi.Each can be understood and appropriate worship conducted on that Ekadashi

    Thanks.

      You won't really find any shlokas / prayers for Nitya Devis, which can be chanted without guidance of a Guru. But the simple mantras you will find in "Journey with the Moon" in exact transliteration.

    May I ask what can be the reason that someone's character can be completely oposite of the typical description of one's birth tithi?

    • @DiscoveringYouniverse
      @DiscoveringYouniverse  2 года назад +2

      Other factors in a birth chart significantly overriding tithi qualities. Like in every other case. This is why we can never judge a birth chart by a single planetary placement. Life is much bigger than that :-)

      @@DiscoveringYouniverse Thank you so much for your reply. Do I understand correctly that the tithi is what we already are? or is it something that we should aspire to grow into?

      justlike earth is filledvth 3/4 th of water...similarly 60 percent human body weight is water....da quality ofwater is governed by tithi

    how i can know what's my lunar day?

    • @DiscoveringYouniverse
      @DiscoveringYouniverse  6 лет назад +1

      Namaste. Every Jyotish program should calculate that for you, including free Jagannatha Hora. But there are also plenty of online pages doing that (like this one, first thing that Google showed me: janmatithi.com/ ). I am however, personally, never using online calculators, because I do not know, how accurate they are.

    is it good to do graha pravesh in this lunar day?

    • @DiscoveringYouniverse
      @DiscoveringYouniverse  5 лет назад +1

      Depends on the paksha. According to Kala Prakashika best tithis for Graha pravesh are Pratipad, Dvitiya, Tritiya, Panchami or Saptami in Krishna paksha or Dashami, Ekadashi or Trayodashi in Shukla paksha. Or at least bigger part of the Moon should be visible.

    • @aathreyaselvanayagam6629

      @@DiscoveringYouniverse thank you :) and i also have another doubt. They say that graha pravesh should not be done in agni nakshatra period. why is that so? but if it is done, is it bad?

    • @DiscoveringYouniverse
      @DiscoveringYouniverse  5 лет назад +1

      Yes, fire can be never supportive for things related to home (4th house) and nourishment. But there is also a deeper reason behind that connected to the position of Vastu Purusha during that time.

    • @aathreyaselvanayagam6629
      @aathreyaselvanayagam6629 5 лет назад

      @@DiscoveringYouniverse but if it is a vastu day? should all these things must be taken into account?

    • @DiscoveringYouniverse
      @DiscoveringYouniverse  5 лет назад +1

      I am not sure what exactly do you mean by "Vastu day". But whenever you choose any muhurta, if you want it to be auspicious, of course, you must take as many factors into consideration, as possible - especially the muhurta yoga itself. On one of our Vastu courses we were covering in greater detail electing the muhurta for different functions connected to home, including Graha pravesha. But it is way too much to squeeze it all into a single RUclips comment.
