this seems like an argument from someone who has no background in engineering. Many of these missiles has been continuous running nonstop for the past several decades, while there has been several upgrade and sustainment over the past 6 decades, there are still many original components in minuteman 1 system that still running in minuteman 3 system. This is an incredible feat of engineering, however you really can't sustain something forever. These components were made in the 50s-60s, with no replacement, and it will cost just as much to standup those effort, especially since no one around that is alive today has a full scope knowledge of the design of minuteman 3.
whether or not we need ICBM is another topic, but continue the sustainment effort to prolong minuteman 3 is a stupid idea
Also what's your idea to disarm North Korea, China and Russia ? Propose an idea on how to disarm those countries than we can start talking about disarming America

No reason why the US couldn’t start the process of eliminating these weapons. Everyone is under the attitude in the US that OTHER countries need to reduce. What makes America the one to call ALL THE SHOTS, all the time? The US is gonna pay in the short run.

They already plan on using them soon. Gotta work on depopulation.
