You won't need to worry about what others tell you and you'll work on your account. Trust me, it hurts now. But you have to focus on what your past self would want you to, what they wanted you to be. I spent years studying languages in hopes to finally leave this tiny island, toxic family and everything behind. Then when I got accepted into programme in 2020 the pandemic happened. Now, I'm listening to this while studying Japanese in hopes of getting accepted to the JET programme for 2022 although I have been rejected 3 times but I'm hoping my Japanese certificates this time can help my application this time so I can finally leave here.
