Everytime Seth makes a Jund joke I always think back to the time I played Budget Abzan Rites against Jund in a modern match at our store. He had his deck all blinged out w expeditions and I beat him with siege rhinos.. I still think about that guy sometimes
I would've cut a castle and a haven for 2 basic snow swamps. Haven is great but only as your 4th or later land, in an aggressive deck you need to play turn 1-3 and a tap land and a colourless land is a mull but 2 basic would be a keep.

Hey Seth, great deck as always! A little criticism though- the editing is getting a little crazy in my opinion lol idk if others agree but while I understand cutting the video down makes sense, cutting you off mid-words is just a bit much. Just my 2 cents, and mean well by my comment.
when I see this list I really want to add unearth and Spawn of mayhem as 2 of each. and maybe knights of ebon legion, but i do think egon give mono B some real legs.
Question, other than Smuggler's Copter & the 1 Go for the Throat in SB, everything else in this deck is Pioneer Legal. Any thoughts on if there is anything that could replace the Copters to make this Pioneer Legal?

Match 1 game 1 scoop was so goddamn early. You had 8 draws that deal with Gargaroth fairly well in combat and don't die to a stomp(regisaur and aetherborn), could have hung back and double blocked with visitors if they swung out and didn't have cleave/stomp/some trick to kill blockers.
I haven't played Modern in a while, so maybe it's just me, but: Are the Gruul and Izzet deck that Seth faced here representative of the meta right now ? They both seemed very shaky to me.
Went to a modern tournament. Did 0-4 Game 1 - BR Prowess - 0-2 was really really close each time. Opponent had less than 5 lifes Game 2 - Amulet Titan - 0-2 Not even close. It's a bad matchup. I had 2 Ashiok Dreamrender from the sideboard but did not draw it. Game 3 - Burn - 1-2 Really close. The Gifted Aetherborn is really good against those decks. Game 4 - Tron 1-2 Really close. The two game he won, he was at 1 life. I think Tron is a good matchup for our deck.
Every card in the maindeck is legal in Pioneer except for smuggler's copter. Maybe there's something there 🤔 Edit: Every card in the 75 except copter is legal in pioneer
so why exactly was the game over match one game one? Unless he has another giant or lightningbolt you kill his elder with a double block. if he choses the life on attack you are in an ok spot if he chooses the 3/3 are in an Ok spot and unless the draw was insane you are in an ok spot, sure not a winning one but not a loosing one either.
I played against this deck the other day and I was playing a orzhov midrange list and this deck always had gas and if they didn’t stomp you down it just ground you out with small recursive threats

No you are correct, if he had crewed the copter the opponent wouldn't have been able to chump block and gone to 0 that turn
He realized he could do it the turn after, but didn't catch that he missed it the turn before.
I wonder if this could be tweaked into a Historic list, add in some Mire Tritons, Knight of the Ebon Legions, Thoughtseizes.

I really don't like faceless haven in mono black. There's too many game where it screws you over.

you can have 3-4 colorless lands in a mono-color deck with it being minimally impactful

Cuts are cutting the end of sentences, and even sometime skipping whole plays.
But you can always piece together what happened. I don’t know, I’d rather this than every video pushing two hours long
