Sunny always has to put herself over in these Wrestling’s Mosts. Here she says about how she could cut a 7 minute promo off the top of her head but John Cena has to use a script. And when they talked about the Rock & Steve Austin she says how she feed them for months because all her food was on the WWE’s account or topped other wrestlers up to first class on flights as she always got to go first class. Or how she had the keys to all the rooms at Titan Towers and said she always had Vince McMahon’s ear. Whatever they’re talking about Sunny has to tell a story from her past where she puts herself over big time
I wouldn’t doing her being in first class, getting her food paid for (Corny has mentioned having to call her out for using it to pay for Candito to eat, and having all the keys because she screwed Michaels, British Bulldog, and probably Vince himself given his recent transgressions.
Do you really care? Why? Whatever happened, that's what happened. As a person, she's questionable at best, but professionally, she was one of the first of her kind and did well. Sunny isn't the only one who "puts herself over". Listen to most podcasts, you'll find that more than you won't. This interview took place a long time ago. I suspect she was asked certain questions and she simply answered. I suspect she was approached to do the interview to start with. I also suspect that years of "managing" where putting people over is what they do on a daily, it's second nature. Just my uneducated opinion.

Best manager will always be bobby Heenan. He was in the golden age of wrestling in the 80s. He had humor, a great villain, and personality. He was the first manager to be a star in the business. 💯

I would never put Paul Heyman above Sherry. Paul drew more heat onto himself than he did for his guys which the opposite of what you're supposed to do as a manager. Yes he could talk for his guys but when you remember Paul more so than most of the guys he managed, you're not a good manager. You're a good heel. The guys Paul managed were only over in a regional sense. He managed Undertaker but Taker never made it big until he left for WWE. Everyone else on your list managed guys that had heat and had even more heat by aligning themselves with those managers. Freddie Blassie should have been on that list. He's top 5. Paul is not.

I am so fortunate to have grown up watching Bobby Heenan manage AWA Tag Team Champions Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens. Especially the Heenan-Bockwinkel combination was I feel Heenan's best work.
I grew up in the Massachusetts and the AWA heyday was before my time (born in 78) but I can't get enough of the old AWA from the 70s. Da Crusher is my man, but Bockwinkel & Stevens were a phenomenal tag team. Both were great singles too.

Mitchell isnt in top 15 at best. Gary Hart might be top 10 but not 4. 7 would be JJ Dillon. And Grand Wizard, Mr Fuji with Gary make 8,9,10.

He could deliver an intense promo putting his guy over without it looking hokey or over the top
