Before my best friend died finally he had a vision while being dead for minutes during a heart surgery before. He said it was calm, warm, extreme colorful and peaceful. He told me, that it was something, he never felt before. All was beautiful and he felt like being on the ultimate LSD Trip. After that, he had some fear of dying, but only for leaving his loved ones behind. He had no more fear of death itself, because he knew, that everything will be alright. No pain, no panic, just peace and a wonderful feeling of floating through fantastic scenes with a deep inner feeling of relief. After he died a couple of weeks later, I mourned losing him, but I knew and know that he had found his way to peace. I'm so glad that he told me what he saw and felt. I know he's ok. And I'm too

actually this makes alot sense to me... i kind of live like that whithout even being aware of the tradition. it just feels natural to me... i mean most religions are more about power and control then anything else ... they lost the essence ... think those 4 core principles are the essence and also the reason why its just healthy to choose to live by thees "values". ... ...being spiritual not religeous... doing the right thing for the greater good not just for personal gain... no need to live on your knees as long you dont put those close to you down. dont be so greedy. there would be enough for all of us... but yo i guess every herd got its black sheep but the european mind is more down whith the devil, the EGO ... false light blindet by there beauty lol. ..who are the real Savages? not everything that shines is gold... the devil is a liar. no matter which shade of brown or whatever... positiv giving or Negative taking... balance just some thoughts and thnx for providing these infos. I had a near death experience I can’t explain it but when my soul left my body I felt a huge weigh off my shoulders it felt so good I felt free death isn’t what people make it to be it’s very peaceful and beautiful we shouldn’t be afraid I think living is more painful and leaving our loved ones behind is what makes us feel afraid.
What's a soul made of? Where does it set in the body? Can you prove that your out of body experience wasn't just your brain? They did a study and put a piece of paper with a word written on it and none could tell you what was written on the paper. Souls aren't real.
This video offers a profound perspective on 'The Tibetan Book of the Dead,' showing it as not just a guide for death but also a roadmap for living. The way it bridges ancient wisdom with modern insights is truly impressive. Wishing everyone meaningful reflections and a life lived with mindfulness!
I've been trying to live this way and didn't realize it. Do no harm, self reflect even when painful. Learning and correcting. To show love and respect in every step I take. To give anything you have with no expectations of a return. To give understanding even when not asked. I crave peace and harmony for all living creatures......wow, mind blown
@elijahelizer4674 thanks but I sound naive. But I can still wish and do right by all people I meet. My mom taught me people will come and go through life. Do everything you can to make the ones that leave, make them recall you with kind thoughts. I'm no angel but want peace .
@@MorganWinders That’s not being naive brother, the world is full of so much hate and despair it’s refreshing to know their are people who want to uplift others and shine their light. I try to live my life the same way, it doesn’t exert a significant amount of energy to be good. Race, religion, gender or status should not dictate how we treat one another. Continue to live your life with purpose and enlightenment, everything happens for a reason and what you give will come back to you ten-fold.
I already died once when I was 14 years old. I saw and experienced other worldly beings. They were glowing white figures. Two females and one bigger male in the middle. I couldn't bring myself to look at their faces. We communicated through thought. They asked me what i wanted to do. I said i wanted to live even though i knew if i would have gone with them, it would have been to a better place. I have no fear of dying anymore. Im not that much of a religious person, but obviously there really is a better place
I have a memory almost exactly how you described it. One male and a few females. But as crazy as this might sound. I think it was before was born. I always remembered it. And i remembered they were glowing of light and the man lifted me and placed me in a trough of water, the scenery looked as if it was a garden. They were all saying things but I do not remember. I just remember what I’ve said.
Was just thinking about this… why is our brain so afraid of dying ? Our whole brains purpose is to keep us alive… but in my body and my heart, I can’t wait to actually finally just rest. From the bottom of my heart, I can’t wait
@@Greg-l6sThat's actually possible. Like being stuck in a room full of carbon monoxide and never waking up, but I feel then you'd actually stop dreaming after death due to the brain not being active anymore. So wishing you die while dreaming is possible it's just not possible to stay in that state anymore, because the brain is no longer active thus your soul getting out of your body and possibly going to heaven or hell. We really don't know what happens after death, but the Bible does gives us hope like a Heaven, but it doesn't specify if we go to Heaven right away or we have to wait till judgement day etc. It's fascinating, because although I know scientifically our brain is no more and we can't feel touch or hear no more we basically cease to exist something tells me we do or might have a soul which can't be destroyed only God or someone with similar power could do it.
I feel the same. I find my dreams so adventures. I someone’s hope before I fall into sleep that I can stay in my dreams. I don’t even mind the slightly creepy ones 😅

For me this video is a sign to stop blocking the guidance i am receiving that will lead me to healing…and Freedom
To stop anger you need to first accept your anger and know its common to have it... once u accept it ... learn that anger is just a reaction towards what u r not accepting of others... ask urself why am i not accepting things? it may say you have conditions thoughts where u want people to live their life as u like... where u feel they shouldnt be as they want to be.. u need to release this condition and leave people to live on their own and u too have to live life on ur terms.. once u accept urself and let all live as they live and u too have to learn to live life on what life shows u to live you will see how the anger itself dissappears and u will live life with gratitude acceptance love peace and harmony Peace be

I died three years ago from a heart attack it was very calming and I was kinda upset when I woke up it was the most relaxed I’ve ever been in my life!!
My friend said when he died for a couple mins that every thing almost went black like he didn’t even know he died he ended up passing away a year later rest in peace brother hope he’s in heaven
I experienced that in my ego death trip I asked myself what comes after life & closed my eyes flew threw the stars searched every possibility & lead me into darkness darker then dark type of dark there was nothing then I shot back & I was ready for death
A professor of slavonic languages asked for my presence as he lay dying & asked for me to return the next day & requested that I read ' The Tibetan Book of The Dead ' & have carried that thought until now ! I returned the next day & sat with him all day ... The following day he took his last breath of life & his soul began the next journey .
People do strange things when they know they're about to die. Pretty cowardly and meaningless to give you that book just before dying. I wonder why he thought to keep it a secret while he was alive. So much time wasted.
I got shot in the back of my head and collapsed unconscious I don’t remember anything besides darkness and managed to regain consciousness. I walked out to the front yard and saw a police officer with a firearm in hand pointed at the ground of course respectfully I appreciate him for that. He told me the ambulance was about to arrive. So I managed to lay down and went unconscious again. I then regained consciousness in the hospital a week later unable to speak fluently and realized I’m now half-blind because the bullet exited through my eye ball and across my nose. There is a scar across my nose now and I also had to spend money on a fake glass eye so I don’t have to wear that eye patch in my picture anymore. I’m back to normal again basically besides the lil bit of brain damage and 😜 half blind. Really glad I’m still alive god bless my soul amen 🙏🏻
We are all born with one friend, he walks with us our whole life, he is silent and the world is just shades of grey, but once you notice him he makes our life brighter and more colorful, Death is our only true friend, he brings the color to our lives just by introducung himself. ,I am an NDE.
I saw him all of a sudden. He scared me to death. I came back to life though and punched him straight between the eyes and asked this scary bastard not to come around spooking me again. What an intruder !!
The idea of the light leading to enlightenment and turning away from the light leading to rebirth helps me understand Matthew:20 "It is easier to move a camel through the eye of a needle than a rich man through the gates of heaven" If you have a lot of material possession in this world (more than the majority of people) then you would want to stay in this world where you can rule over everyone... Transcending into heaven would be a "step down" for such men for in heaven every man is equal
Maybe “ruling over everyone” is your perception of what having wealth is used for but that doesn’t mean everyone else views it that way. Wealth, like life itself is largely what one makes of it.
Before my grandfather passed away, he had an experience during a near-death moment. He described it as a serene, warm, and colorful sensation, unlike anything he had ever felt. He told me that it felt like being surrounded by pure peace, floating through a world full of beauty and calmness. He said that after the experience, he no longer feared death itself, only the idea of leaving his loved ones behind. Even after his passing, I take comfort in knowing that he found peace and tranquility. His words continue to comfort me, and I know he’s in a better place.

I’ve been working in the neurology field for 5 years (first with adults and now with children in Neurodiagnostics) and it opened my eyes to a ton of things. The brain is a never ending abyss of mystery and it can do amazing and terrifying things as well. I’ve seen terrible brain injuries (self inflicted gun shots to the head to TBIs on toddlers from abusive parents) and monitored children as they slipped into brain death. I think about all the individual I’ve seen pass every day and hope they are some place where there is only happiness and warmth. From an educational standpoint , I believe that what you see when you die is the result of your brain shutting down. But I really hope there is something more to it.
Hope is the worse thing i experienced in life. It kept me in a false self induced sense of security and well-being without taking any action.Without asking any questions. Then reality hit and the contrast was soo painful.
There’s some evidence that when your brain thinks you’re dying, TRULY dying it releases a large amount of DMT. That’s why when people smoke it they always call it a spiritual journey, seeing celestial bodies, just like those that have a near death experience etc. Your brain releases this DMT so you can “hallucinate” whatever scenario makes you the most comfortable with dying. Seeing your family, whatever you think god is, being relaxed etc.
There is no reason to fear death, energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Your very consciousness is energy itself, focus on the important things, good thoughts, good words, and good deeds. Your personal beliefs are of no importance if you focus on these 3 truths. Good thoughts, good words, and good deeds, this is the currency of God.
Thank you very much for your insight, for helping us humans to realize that to find true peace in one's heart is :To forgive( give all the pain to God or Universe ,to forgive yourself, be patient with yourself and being Thankful. God bless everyone.

This book was 'required reading' in certain elements of the social revolution of the 60's and early 70's. Since then, 'by popular demand' many more authors and practitioners, as committed as the Tibetans to advance human awareness, but in a more 'user-friendly' fashion have promoted the idea the 'conciousness survives death'. Modern society has made a business out of the idea that "death" is the ultimate bummer. Just the same, I'm encouraged by our progress.

Only the physical body, the ego and its attachments must die. There are many of us, who've, in this temporary mortal existence, experienced an NDE. We know from this experience, that the soul, the real us, our conscious immortal self, never dies. We awaken to the need to look within, to face all things not of love, those things that do not serve us spiritually. It's necessary to acknowledge, understand, forgive and dismiss, all the hurts, trauma, fears, feelings of guilt and remorse. All of the negativity, we're concealing within. Learning to forgive and love ourselves is most important. This frees us to not only accept and love ourselves, but also radiate this love unconditionally, to everyone.

In other words, if you do this (die before you die), you will pass on into the greater life (you won't die when you die). Does that fit?

I almost died of pneumonia, antibiotics were not working. I was left alone at the hospital with my baby brother when I suddenly couldnt breathe, my brother said I was turning blue. All I can remember at that time was screaming from my brother who was in panic and nurses and doctors panicking. It felt like I was falling underwater my vision was like seeing from a telescope and everything was starting to get dimmer and dimmer. There was a calm to it that felt like I should just give in but then I started hearing my brother sob and I told myself i couldn't do this to him and traumatize him like that, so i fought back from the calm and it felt like i was resurfacing. I rose from the bed with the doctors around me and i started getting color back to my skin. It felt like my body had a reboot the anti biotics suddenly started working and I was out of the hospital in a matter of days. I had been hospitalized for pneumonia for months and the doctors were in awe of my sudden recovery it was un explainable. As amazing as it was, to this day I still feel like I should have died that day, that was already 11 years ago and I still have this lingering feeling that I should no longer be here

How does one explain dreams of foreseen death ? I think this comment section would be the best way to explain these dreams I’ve had that had unfortunately come true. The first time I had a dream like this, I was 7 years old. I woke up and immediately felt a sense of terror. I couldn’t remember what I dreamt, but I knew someone was going to die. In pure shock or fear I presume, but I knew what was going to happen. I cried because no matter who asked what’s wrong, I felt mute. As if I couldn’t speak to anyone about it, even if it’s what I wanted. Again, it could’ve been fear’s grip on me, but later at night, we got a knock on the door. The police came to inform us that my uncle had been hit off his bike. Skull crushed underneath a wheel and the driver took off instead of assisting. In that moment, I felt freed of all my fears. I was okay again. I’ve had 2 other dreams years after that, but a different sense this time and I didn’t know my dream’s purpose until I was informed about their deaths.
Sorcerers say that when we die, our awareness briefly enters the third attention before being dissipated. The third attention is described physically as a place with blinding diaphanous light, like a sort prairie bath in energizing diaphanous light. Some people subjected to severe trauma or illness that may cause an accidental movement of the assemblage point also briefly enters the third attention, they common called near death experience. But those sorcerers enters the third attention, alive, with their life force and individuality intact. And for millennia upon millennia, they are still alive these days.
Yes the assemblage point needs explaining to people who have never heard about it. ‘Journey to Ixtlan’ is a book that people should read. And also ‘The art of dreaming’ - both books by Carlos Castaneda about the shamanic teachings of Don Juan.

Energy is the potential to do work. Life is not energy. The concept is hilarious considering you have to take life everyday and eat it to move forward in time. Care to explain why you die when you do not consume matter to energy? And what happens to that energy if it doesn't die? Why do we need to constantly eat? By the way, congrats on being resurrected. What doctor declared you dead?
@doublecrossedswine112 there are different kinds of energy, and the potential to do work is kinetic energy, n'est pas? Even so, isn't the human body itself constantly working until you kick the bucket? The heart would be the James Brown of physiology, I suppose. And we do consume energy to have energy cuz life feeds on life according to MJK. And Disney says there's a Circle of Life. As for where that energy goes when we die, I'm not sure, but just because we don't see it doesn't mean it isn't there. There are definitely wavelengths our eyes can't sense. Are you familiar with the neurons inside your brain, and the way signals propagate thru it via synaptic connections? It's chemical within the neurons, but electrical between. And each neuron connects from the presynaptic part (the axon terminal) to the next neuron's postsynaptic part (the dendrites). And the axon is the long part of the neuron (I'm aware there are different types of neurons as well). But I think life could be the same way, going from one neuron to another, with the axon being life's journey, and the synapse being the portal between life and death. This would be characteristic of reincarnation, which makes sense to me cuz everything in life is cyclical in nature. And, like the communication of neurons, we too would switch between chemical and electrical. Scientists have compared the complexity of the brain to the universe, so maybe they're not too far off. We don't fully understand either as it is. Maybe we are all just a cell within a cell within a cell within....anyhoo, if you actually read this whole thing then kudos to you, lol. Cheers, mate.
You weren't 'dead for 20min.' The very fact that you are here and posting on RUclips means you didn't die, no matter how much you want to believe in NDE's. You were close to death, unconscious or in a coma, that is all. While in that state your brain was active (in other words, you weren't dead), and you had dreams and hallucinations from what you had heard during your lifetime so far. If you had died like billions of people have, you wouldn't have come back to talk about it.
There's weird things that just simply "are". Being born is a traumatic event for humans to experience and we don't remember much from before that. Here's another weird thing that just "is" . When conceiving a child, where the man's heart aligns (whether he wants a son or a daughter) will actually come into effect.
Thank you for sharing this. The voice of the narrator, while not similar in auditorial tone, sounds similar to the character voice given to the character that Laurence fishburn portrayed in that noir thriller that bore some resemblance to the noir thriller that proceeded it, releasing in 1999 and 1998, respectively.
As I watch this I began to wonder why is the Dalai Lama keep getting reborn here on earth. Think about it, he is the brightest and well versed in this subject matter in which he could've passed the 1st Bardo long ago and yet he keeps coming back. Is it by choice or he has unresolved issues like a normal person?
Perhaps the Dalai Lama's consciousness does not extend beyond the mind to reach the heart. He should marry. Through marriage, an individual can fully fulfill his important religious duties and moral responsibilities. Just my 2 cents. 😁
..or is the Book of the Dead a recipe for constant reincarnation which nobody would really want. Is the intense light the path towards reincarnation? Should it be seen as that and avoided?
@phnx4life I have this nagging thoughts in my head... Think about it if reincarnation is real then there's a chance that your bday might've been the day you died in your previous life, and every time your loved ones celebrate your death anniversary they're also celebrating your rebirth. Also what if the baby inside the mothers womb is just an empty living vessel without a soul and it only gets a soul when it's about to be born. Another thing I have in mind is that what if we remember everything on the moment of reincarnation then slowly forget the truth because our brain aren't fully developed yet. Last but not least what if... we all get reincarnated into something that humans consume and harvest and were all just taking turns, and life is just one big twillight zone episode in a loop.

Exactly. All viewpoints on what happens after death are purely guesswork, because nobody has truly died (NDE's are 'near death' experiences, and the 'experiences' are hallucinations) and come back to tell the tale. As far as our consciousness is concerned, nobody knows what happens after death, if anything.
Meditating one day I had an experience, appeared like ink bleeding through a cloth. I was in a hospital bed surrounded by people, I went to sit up to tell them I’m ok but ended up immediately weightless and almost thrashing around out of balance without the weight of the body. While that’s happening I realize I’ve died, felt despair from not finishing everything immediately followed by calm and understanding. I thanked my body and it reciprocated so much love back to me. it's interesting how a lot of us I'm sure have heard the phare to not go towards the light when you die, also interesting that we're taught growing up not to look at the sun.
Looking at the sun hurts your eyes and blinds you so it's very basic thing to not look at the sun. You see light when passing as the receptors in your eyes perceive light when they are not firing, such as when you are low on oxygen.
@@vg8062 wrong, we've all just been conditioned by being told all our lives that the sun hurts your eyes to the point where it actually does now, you can still train your eyes to withstand the brightness from the sun and be okay, educate yourself.
This book " Tibetan Book of the Dead" may be a very hard read for most of us. For a more easy understanding of life after death and out of body experiences as you're still alive i strongly recomand to read Robert Monroe books. You'll find some fascinating aspects of your soul, who we realy are, why we are here, and where we'll be going after our body drops death.... Beside that Bob, had a unique funny way of explaining things. You will enjoy for sure.
People are really self centred ! Why would anybody imagine that they are so important that they wish to imagine that they "will be going somewhere after our body drops dead" (not death, thx)
It depends on how religious the dying person is. I worked as a nurse and had quite my fair share of dying people I've talked with. Abrupt death is where I usually hear the "I see a bright light" stuff but usually the slow aging death I hear "it's dark, I'm scared", or when we resuscitated somebody it's the "it's all darkness, nothing is there".
I was doing psychedelics for 2 years, mainly LSD and DMT and this video is exactly what I needed and what confirms everything I saw while being in the altered state. Right now I am not using psychedelics anymore, but maybe a occasional DMT session would still be beneficial for me just to remind me of what truly matters and with that train myself occasionally for the ultimate end.
I lived this way for many years. I searched every corner, every nook. I eventually landed on a disastrously tragic theology, a Nihilism so pure, so perfect, that it robbed me of all hope. Robbed me of the illusion of hope. The delusion of hope.
don´t look within... A lot of people will be disappointed ! Take up a hobby. Looking in and seeing how pointless existence is can only lead to despair. Most spiritual soul searchers are a really unhappy crew of short tempered superficial fakers. Short cut is to drop a tab of LSD and see if you can deal with your spiritual side. The rest of it is self obsession without answers. The Dalai Lama has no answers, just a couple of quotes that are about as profound as those found on my Grandma´s calender.
@@barryUFF Each of us are free to create the forms of reality we will experience. When I look into my heart, I do not find fear and despair. I find there, love and purpose in my existence. I don't need to ingest a chemical, for the experience. It would be counter-productive, creating illusion, rather than an experience of reality, to do so.

I keep thinking about my cat who I put to sleep, her last moments, it was heart wrenching. I want to know her spirit has carried on in to a better life and she felt absolutely no pain or fear when her heart stopped. I imagine it must feel dramatic, but nobody can say for certain what happens. Near death (heart stops) is not the same as dying permanently. I can say that the Tibetan book of the Dead sounds very serious and convincing but it's still believing in something that I haven't yet seen or know directly.
The world would be better place if people analysed things before jumping into conclusion rather than acting on their bias and emotions or things that feels good to hear but is logically and scientifically false!!
Wait, so the only way to basically go to "heaven", or the ultimate place of purity, only lasts a second to reach, and if we're not fast enough to reach it, we lose it and thus don't reach enlightenment?? We're all screwed then in that case
And I'm too

When you left your body, your soul is you
Exactly
Soul? Whats a soul?
I think we're afraid more or less of the process of dying and pain.
What's a soul made of? Where does it set in the body? Can you prove that your out of body experience wasn't just your brain?
They did a study and put a piece of paper with a word written on it and none could tell you what was written on the paper. Souls aren't real.

I had almost a similar dream at 14 and I’m 31 now but instead I was told it’s not your time.
Beings of light. Look into it more. You might find something similar.
Every time I fall asleep, it feels so beautiful...
If only I could be in that state.... Forever
Every night I hope i pass away in my sleep,
@@Greg-l6sThat's actually possible.

The idea of the light leading to enlightenment and turning away from the light leading to rebirth helps me understand Matthew:20 "It is easier to move a camel through the eye of a needle than a rich man through the gates of heaven"
If you have a lot of material possession in this world (more than the majority of people) then you would want to stay in this world where you can rule over everyone... Transcending into heaven would be a "step down" for such men for in heaven every man is equal
Makes sense
Well said.
No your right! It's just you'r brain shutting down! Then your in the same place you where before birth! Gone , don't exist anymore n never will
I agree

Since then, 'by popular demand' many more authors and practitioners, as committed as the Tibetans to advance human awareness, but in a more 'user-friendly' fashion have promoted the idea the 'conciousness survives death'. This frees us to not only accept and love ourselves, but also radiate this love unconditionally, to everyone.
and then what?

I've died 32 times and keep getting sent back to this hell.
They keep telling me, "if you die before you die, you won't die when you die." go figure
Sounds to me like a quote by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: "As long as you don't practice it, this dying and becoming, you are only a dreary guest on the dark earth." In other words, if you do this (die before you die), you will pass on into the greater life (you won't die when you die). Does that fit?

Maybe you dont have to die but live and relive and then die 😅

We were nothing prior to being born into existence. I believe after we die, we go back to nothing. We only have one life. Be grateful and live life to the fullest.
"We" are our soul, not the body it was placed in. We always have an always will be. Your body is simply a vessel for our soul. Our soul lives on.

Teachings of Don Juan.
Mr Castaneda himself
Yes the assemblage point needs explaining to people who have never heard about it. ‘Journey to Ixtlan’ is a book that people should read. And also ‘The art of dreaming’ - both books by Carlos Castaneda about the shamanic teachings of Don Juan.

Then I fell back on my back in bed and had a weird experience or dream of an all white place and everyone I saw had there faces cover in white light. They reminded me of my current family after the dream was over I felt like I was physically dead. I was unable to breath, move and even think. I didn't feel no fear or emotion but the only thing I could feel was something entering in my body and I woke up gasping for air. I was scared and went to tell my grandmother

I was dead for 20 min. and I remember everything and I learned life is a form of energy, energy doesn't die
No you werent
I just left a long comment that got deleted somehow. Guess I should have saved it. RUclips must be getting to be like Yahoo!
Stop everything you're doing before RUclips deletes this video... 1 month later still not deleted 😂😂😂

YES. What do you think about choosing our parents, before birth? As
long as I try, I cannot deeply believe or accept it Thank you
There's weird things that just simply "are". Being born is a traumatic event for humans to experience and we don't remember much from before that.
Here's another weird thing that just "is" . When conceiving a child, where the man's heart aligns (whether he wants a son or a daughter) will actually come into effect.
I can't believe that either. Seems crazy to me.
Excellent question!!
Perhaps the Dalai Lama's consciousness does not extend beyond the mind to reach the heart. He should marry. Through marriage, an individual can fully fulfill his important religious duties and moral responsibilities. Just my 2 cents. 😁
@junrad1 that's an interesting and plausible 2 cents 🤔😁
..or is the Book of the Dead a recipe for constant reincarnation which nobody would really want.
If my mind, body and spirit was any more open. I would need the James Web Telescope to interpret what I'm seeing, hearing, feeling & experiencing.
If you’re serious about changing your life, read the book The Cosmic Wealth Frequencies on Borlest. The techniques inside are mind-blowing.

I went to the top of the room and looked back, after that it faded away. I’ve had a few other experiences but this one was the most vivid and left an lasting impression
