    This was an extremely helpful video. Thank you very much. The only thing I do not fully understand is why we write in the end "Furthermore, the direct effect of Authentic Leadership on self-efficacy in presence of the mediator..." - Why self-efficacy and not life satisfaction? Is the direct effect not the one which shows the effect between IV on DV? and why in the presence of the mediator? Self-efficacy is the mediator, isn't it?

    1- In the bias-corrected percentile method, why do we need to make sure from LB and UB, since the indirect effect is significant?
    2- Why you didn't report the total effect in this video?

    I have learned a lot from you, Sir. Please help me in interpreting my mediation result: Direct effect (with a mediator) = - 0.005 (negative and insignificant), Indirect effect= 0.052 (positive and significant), Total effect = (positive and insignificant). Shall I consider this as full mediation or not? Please reply. Thanks a lot in advance.

      you have to check the p value, but i think it is full mediationsince the direct effect is not significant

      If both direct and indirect is significant itnis partial mediation. If direct is insignificant and indirect is significant, it is full.
      Significant is when p value is less than 0.05

    what a wonderful explanation. Sir I have one question. I have asked so many questions in past couple of days and you have answered all of them. I hope u answer this as well. so I have a large model with lots of variables. In your video there is just one IV, one IDV and one mediator. So, following that I extracted that part of my model including one IDV, one DV and one mediator and testing the mediation separate from the full model. Please let me know if this is the right way??

    Sir, I have done mediation and moderation analysis with SEM in AMOS and present the results accordingly but reviewer has asked me to show the F-test for my results.
    Kindly suggest me how to show the F-test for my hypotheses.
    I have found that F-test is shown when we conduct testing with regression or Process Macros.
    Sir please suggest me what to do.

      You are right, you may say that you used AMOS and did not use SPSS. F Test is through regression in SPSS.

    Respected Sir you always done great effort. But I have been raised question by my local external supervisor that if AMOS has the property to run complete model then why we will run mediation or serial mediation individually. Is it wrong? Plz sir must reply. Because the estimates have different values in a complete model than individually running mediation or serial mediation of model .

    Thank you so much for the video. I have a question: In your model a: 0.45 b: 0.59 and c': axb = 0.265 (indirect effect). However, when you look at the matrices the indirect effect is 0.268. What could be the reason for this? Thanks in advance.

      Thank you. You can get t-value by dividing estimate by the standard error.

      You take the bootstrap standard error of 0.04 from 6:00 - 6:05 of his video and the 0.268 which is the estimate. 0.268/0.04 = 6.70.

    If IV to Mediator path is significant; Mediator to DV path is significant; then, is it necessary that the indirect effect of IV to DV via Mediator MUST be significant?

    Sir, kindly clear me one thing. Since there are two arrows coming from AUL_IV, the parameter of one arrow should be set at 1. You have not set and still you found both unstandardized and standardized regression weights. I am doing the the same thing, but not getting result if I don't Put 1 on one of the arrow. I am only getting result if I put 1 onone of the arrows. Why so?

    In our study, how will we cite this mediation analysis and hypothesis acceptance criteria? If i write, I have used the Preacher and Hayes (2008) approach to conduct mediation analysis, with the criteria of P-value
