Memories from the times I went camping in Aeschi (just follow the road over the bridge in Spiez) Spent a lot of hours there, with the classic loco's like the 8/8 used for shunting .... Unfortunately my entire photo archive from those days is destroyed by fire, but clips like these bring back memories..
Sad to see the old ladies used as oversized shunting locomotives, luckily they preserved a couple and one of them I have observed double heading with a new Re465 on a goods train over the Lötschberg pass at Blausee-Mitholz. A Re4/4 BLS was banking at the end.
