Can I spend quarantine at my spouse's parents home in Taipei? She has a ROC passport and will be going as well, along with our 3 year old. Dad and kid are US citizens. Adults are fully vaxed. All will be flying in from the US. Can the owners of the house stay in the house while we quarantine? Spending quarantine at home is doable. Spending quarantine in a hotel is not (for us).
That's a great question more than likely it will not be a viable option. The rules are ever changing and the current explanation of the home quarantine qualifications are confusing at best. You could check with a couple of websites to verify the requirements for qualification of home quarantine. You can check Mrhost.com.tw, the Taiwan CDC, and this group on Facebook: Quarantine Support in Taiwan. Have a video on surviving quarantine that might make it a little easier should you be required to use a quarantine hotel.
