This is one of the best van build channels on RUclips. I haven't seen anyone talk so much about the design process. Looking forward to following your progress.

Came here from your wookworking channel and immensely pleased to see such a well thought through plan and tutorial video for a van build.

Fantastic straightforward run through of your thinking! Heads up, your link to the weight docs file is not working. Be great to see how you did your breakdown.

    Matt
I love your videos and your enthusiasm.
I have a lwb sprinter to start converting.
    Is yours an xlwb?

    Are your sketchup models available?

Ah man. We’re on the same journey and have a very similar design for our LWB sprinter.
Did you consider using the £1.2k 460Ah Fogstar batteries with the Victron components setup rather than spending £2k on each Victron battery?

Question: Do you share your sketchup build plans and 3d scan? Would be cool to see how closely it compares to my shite sketchup model lol.
Question 2: Why not just install a heater coil in an external water tank? I think that's what Ladi and Margaret decided to do with their DIY undermount tank.
"Normally past Matt is an absolute dickhead"--ain't that usually the truth!
Really dig your van build. 144's are quite challenging. I am redoing our '07 144 right now, and I really wish I had done a 3d scan of it when we had originally stripped it. I'm also 6'1" but we decided not to do the horizontal bed because a friend who owns it with us an only very occasionally uses it was a hard no, so we're going with a trifold bed method, so we can just push the bed back and turn it into a couch and pull it out real quick to be a bed. This allows us to keep from having to make and unmake the bed, etc. We also are planning on a drying rack cupboard for our dishes that drains into the sink, so we we don't have to dry them and then put them away--that definitely fucks with me lol.
2:10 is missing the card for your sketchup tutorial, fyi.
And the wetroom inspiration video has apparently been taken down ;(

I think you mean Multifunctional rather than Modular
