  • Demonstrates the installation of a solenoid in a Nerf Stryfe.
    Cages are available here: www.thingivers...
Covers both the 35mm Aliexpress solenoid and FTW solenoid
    Video jumps on:
"This is one of the differences with the FTW solenoid" - You need to make sure the back area is super clean and smooth with the FTW solenoid, or it will catch and jam. This is owing to the large circlip on the back of the pusher rod. Just manually push the solenoid in and out, and keep smoothing until it moves without any interference.

Wish I saw this before I installed my solenoid. Great video! A few questions: how did you get rid of the tube on the stock to make room for the battery, what battery did you use, and can you put the battery carrier on Thingiverse?

what’s the wiring diagram and parts list?
i’m looking to make my own 3d printed brushless solenoid semi auto nerf gun and i don’t want the solenoid to stay out when i hold the trigger down i want it to snap forward and back once when i hold it down

That depends on your build. Mine are typically brushless, and have a Narfduino inside. I can program the behaviour.

This is amazing, but does thingiverse not offer printing anymore? I don’t have a 3D printer myself but would love to have this on a build i am working on.

Is there any way in the universe that there is enough space for an arduino? (Cuz select fire will be really cool.)

I have no access to a 3d printer Do you print these for sale or can you refer a good 3d print service to print them?

I can do, if you live in Australia. Otherwise 3dhubs will be fine.
