Your enthusiasm for Omega is contagious and that Tissot is looking great on your wrist.
Seems Omega has really taken to giving us some amazing case backs.
Bro….I loved the nice sentiments you shared about your Dad in regards to watching James Bond movies with him. My Dad sadly passed away when I was just 7 so I don’t have any memories like that of him. Cherish them my man.
As far as watches are concerned…..I just bought the new SMP 300 with black dial on the black rubber strap. I absolutely love it!!!
I love the lollypop second hand on my Seamaster 300 41mm heritage it works beautifully with the sandwich dial. So it's nice to see it replicated on the 60th Bond watch
I like the bond watches that dont flag up that they're bond watches on the face too much but have a nod to the connection on the case back or rotor.
One of the best ones was the spectre aqua terra.
I love this. I might even like it more than the titanium one. I kinda wish they'd done it with the heritage 300 though.
Also... you forgot to mention the 60 on the bezel.
The 60 really does it for me. Plus it has lumen matching in green with the minute hand lumen.
The lollipop hand is nice but I prefer it on the Seamaster 300 rather than the 300m. I also miss the red font for Seamaster. You love your rubber straps but I'm completely sold on this particular mesh bracelet, same with the titanium. The Bond premium on the price means you could achieve a very similar look by picking up an original quartz Goldeney Seamaster (ref 2541.80.00) for about £3K, pop a brand new Omega mesh bracelet on it for an extra £750. I'm wearing the Spectre 300m at the moment. Love it.
Had the latest version of the standard Blue SMP on while watching this!
Epic
I do think this is the best ever SMP and that really is saying something. SO much to love here. The matte blue is so much nicer than the regular rotation blue SMP for me. Love that it will be that little bit heftier than the Ti bond watch. Love the no date. Love the alternating polished and brushed bevels. So clean. So cool. So luxury. The lollipop isn't for me personally, but a lot of vintage enthusiasts will love it. Certainly wouldn't hold me back from it. The moiree is awesome mechanics but I wish it came without and made it that little bit thinner and cheaper. I think if you only have one luxury watch and it's a commemorative piece it's a little bit full-on fanboy (though this one is tastefully discrete). Absolute dream watch.
Nothing too nice to say about the Jamaican tribute tbh, though I understand a lot of thought went into it.
Edit note, wearing a 1969 omega geneve in gold with applied arabic numerals - my new old little stunner XD
Wearing my NTTD watch, and I love that 2 omega 007 watches.
This watch covers multiple Bond watches, the obvious is the old school golden eye dial, the bracelet and nato covers No time to die .. The Lollypop second hand is a nod to Spectre Seamaster and the back of the watch could also be a nod to the Spectre aqua Terra that had the shell case in the center of the case back. If I can find this in the local AD and have the cash, I'm a buyer.
Great looking watch. Does away with the glitz of the normal 300m. And the dial brings back the original look of the wave dial like my Seamaster 2255.80.00
Would love to see some German watch brands and pieces reviewed on this channel.
I was loving yhe look of this new rease.....but you mentioning theli k with your Dad has taken it to another level. I also like many have watched Bond with my Dad!!!! He's recovering from a stroke he had last year but still mafe it to the cinema to watch No Time to Die.....having a fall on the way to his seat. With that in mind this makes this watch even more special!!!!
Yes some brush them off as being 007 issue whatever... they're not putting themselves in the shoes of hardcore bond fans. There's lots of them in different corners of the world.
The movement difference is due to it being a no date. Same movement in the NTTD Seamaster 300M.
Oh, it looks amazing 🤩 on that blue & grey NATO. I love the mesh bracelet too.
I have the Omega NTTD. IMO it's one of the best seamasters Omega has ever made.
I really like the blue 💙
Omega, please release the Tokyo version again, white dial with blue bezel n blued hands.. or with grey cera bezel for that matter. Thanks.
Bought my "Goldeneye " SMP for just under a Grand in 2006 and my Casino Royale Planet Ocean a year later for £2k. Looking back, they were bargains compared to this, however, it is gorgeous. Eell done Harrison, you need a pay rise.
The smaller waves do give it a more retro feel, but I prefer the bigger waves with its more stylish appearance as it interacts with light in interesting ways.
All the things I like from this watch are the improvements from the "No Time To Die" SMP. Fully lumed bezel, adjustable Milanese bracelet, and no date complication. I would like to see it on a rubber band and it's a shame there isn't one officially.
I'm not a big fan of the lollipop second hand because it represents imprecision, which is antithetical to everything Omega. The bezel removing the pearl for a 60-minute mark for the 60th anniversary is a bit of a disappointment as well. A more subtle 60th anniversary on the house on the back or at the bottom would've been better. I like the glass back but it takes up so much real estate of the back that you don't get to admire the housing that much. It makes it look so much bulkier than it is. The bond silhouette I could take it or leave it. The movement is obstructed by it and you can't appreciate the silhouette with the movement in the back. Coupled with the rifling, it's just all too noisy. It has all the makings of a good Omega watch, a great one even, but all the parts aren't cohesive enough.
That being said, it's a beautiful piece that straddles the line between sophistication and fun. Any watch-owner, Omega fan or not, would be proud to have and display it.
I’m a little late to this video but I’m wearing a Panerai Luminor(which I just bought in June in Rome after waiting for 15 years to get a Panerai), I handed down my Seamaster quartz version that I had since 2003 to my wife.
Watch is amazing. Just wish it had the new laser etched dial on it.
Iam wearing my Omega 2262 variant of the Seamaster.I could have bought the skeleton hand version but prefer mine. The 2254 auto version is a classic of military history. The original Bond was a quartz as is Prince Williams.Totally like the 300 but not the 300M.
On my wrist, the blue Seamaster 300M.
Epic, ever thought about the white dial?
I’m wearing my 1999 2531.80 as I watch this video
perfect seamaster in my opinion. even more stunning in the steel.
Nice watch! I really like it with the exception of the second hand. I am wearing my new hydroconquest 39mm with the blue strap. Your videos were very useful.
Thanks mate, great choice!
I still love the 1997 James Bond Seamaster watch ⌚️ with the steel back casing with the Seahorse stamp engraved on the back...the see thru back seems gimmicky...Omega is the best
I’m pretty sure the lollipop second is for Omega’s implementation of their ISO certification.
I wish they had done a ceramic bezel. I understand why they didn't, but a blue dial Seamaster with no date and a ceramic bezel would be great.
I like the blue one but you can keep the gem set one.
Today I am wearing my Sarb017 Seiko Alpinist
a no date diver, 007 connections, waves - lets hope we can actually buy it
The James Bond Anniversary is a real cool watch, but I´m not sure if the caseback not looks much more interesting than the dial.
The one made of white gold is...
Wrist check: German microbrand VANDAAG Primus automatik (blue dial) - not expensive, but a real beauty in german style
I’m absolutely obsessed with the 🍭
I am wearing an Islander today, one of Marc's watches.
Can't make my mind up on the lollipop dial...I am wearing the SARB017 on a brown leather nato :)
I agree about the lollipop second hand... I mean it's not even round.... Its distracting in a bad way.... Though I still love the watch..... And that one detail can be forgiven.
I have a Laco Aachen Blaue Stunde on my wrist right now
The Bond opening isn’t camera lens aperture blades, those are gun barrel spiral. Which means someone is already aiming at him but he pull the trigger first. Lollipop hand is stupid. Should of gone red tip as original.
Secondary comment, my missus says I also look good in a rubber
I am wearing as ALWAYS my Omega Seamaster Co-Axial 2220.80.00 and one question to you all especially Harrison - do you wear your watch to bed? Curious to know and if this is safe to do so. Pretty sure Bond wears his when bedding his girls 😂👌🏼🤝🏼
Why wouldn’t it be safe in bed? I wear watches in bed all the time and I have never had any issues.
I'm gutted...if I knew that blue seamaster was coming I wouldn't have purchased 2 bb58s 4 months apart...I promised myself the next new omega seamaster I buy will be in blue as I have the original black wave dial and current white same as Harrison. However I figured I had few years not few months.
Wearing my black wave dial seamaster and love it just a wee bit more than the white.....but only just
do a video about the indian brand "Titan"
Love the watch, perfect blend of old and new! Interesting point a lot of people miss is Omega have omitted the AR coating on the front of the crystal… wonder if this is a result of the community criticism of the standard SMP watches crystal marking. WWC: wearing a Omega Dynamic 3 5200.50.00.
Other brands offer AR on both layers, yet, people only speak about Omega. And mines haven’t scratched, despite wearing them all the time.
@@diavalus From an owner to a prospective buyer that’s great to hear, and to be clear I doesn’t put me off the Seamaster. I’m ready to buy one (Was waiting to see if any offers came up for black Friday) but this issue was one I kept coming across during my research. Just thought I was a interesting change on Omega’s part.
Insanely pricey 🥵🥵
Wearing the Tudor black bay ceramic my new favorite!
Nice!
Thanks!
to me it just looks like an AI created mash-up of all the Omega Bond watches
Mesh I like, lollipop seconds hand not so much. I have a James Bond Seamaster from around 2010.
Is this a limited edition?
No. Just a special edition.
I love Omega’s Bond watches for the fond memories they bring, except those sported by … ugh… Daniel Craig. I own the 41mm 1995 “Golden Eye” SM and will never part with it.
Don't really get the lollipop seconds hand...
I would have bought one instantly but the lolipop second is dumb for two reasons. First it's aesthetically stupid and second it puts unneeded stress on the movement by placing the weight out further away from the center.
Style is subjective.
Face and bezel is good. Bracelet is crap and the thing covering up the movement is crap. Especially for $2000 more than the regular Seamaster.
Mate as handsome as you are, I don't want to see your face and just glimpses of the watch
Lol you’re such a salesman
But its not a limited edition so like the last Bond watch I wont be buying one shame us collectors are ignored these days.
41mm and Omega could stop the production of all other models because anyone on this planet would buy one of these
Aluminum bezel and no date? No thanks
The only case back worth shit is hippocampus
