- Trying out Southpoint's Garden buffet for their $30.95 prime rib dinner night in Las Vegas. Being one of the longest standing and cheapest casino buffets in Vegas it is very popular among locals and tourists alike so we had to try it out for the first time, for a review. If you hate standing in line waiting for your turn, this buffet can be brutal. Seafood night is a nightmare. I would suggest you try the tail end of breakfast or lunch to minimize your que time.
One of the better buffet for its price. But the crowds are crazy most times.

We really like this buffet especially for the price. The weekend champagne brunch is hard to beat.

Not sure what happened to the buffet. If you watch Travel Ruby's review a year ago for South Point's Prime Rib dinner night you see that there was a much more extensive selection of offerings in each section. At that point is was $24. At the end of her video her assessment was that it was the best bang for the buck buffet on the strip. From what you showed us it looks like it's still a good deal but much less so.

My worst Las Vegas buffets listed below. 2,3, and 4 are interchangeable
1) circus circus
2) mgm grand
3) Excalibur
4) Luxor
5) west gate.
I didn’t even know westgate had a buffet now I might try it lol
@@DanVsWorld it’s a very small buffet with a small selection of items. It was 24$ I think after you sign up for their loyalty card. Otherwise it was a few bucks more without it.

I have the prime rib au jus. The jus is usually salty enough to add to the flavor.
I don't think those were eggs rolls but vegetable spring rolls. Love veggie spring rolls with some sweet and sour sauce or plum sauce.
Prefer chicken to turkey but Nov and Dec turkey is my fav.

Southpoint and mainstreet buffets are inexpensive and better than the Luxor, MGM, and Excalibur for the value and price.
Been to the Main Street couple years back, I enjoyed it
not too many options that look great at this buffet, but the prime rib looks on point
I love the way you pronounce “liver and onions” with that “eeeowww” accent. LOL. For a budget buffet I could be quite satisfied, especially after this review. Thanks!

Last time I had SP's buffet, it was disappointing compared to Silverton's Seasons buffet, which is sadly no longer there.
Should’ve tried the Seafood Night Buffet at Southpoint, had it 2 years ago! At $45.99 cost at the time I felt it was so worth it! No Lobster or King Crab but they did have Snow and Dungeness Crab! I don’t normally like Dungeness preferring King Crab but the Dungeness Crabs I had here was the best I ever have even better then the ones I had in San Francisco! I was there with my mom and we ate so many plates of crab, my mom was 92 at the time and she really ate a lot! Well worth it, one of the better buffets I ever ate!

I definitely enjoy the South points garden buffet. You can't go wrong with the price they are charging.
Went to bacchanal end of May- it was awful. Some of it not edible, especially the asian section. Only the brisket and crab were decent. Oh and the crepe you had to wait in line for 30 minutes for. I would def go back to SP but not to Bacc. Wynn was very good for brunch. I think the SP champagne brunch is better than the dinner (and it also has the PR)

The food seems good for the price. Prime rib looks delicious. I see a number of items that would attract me to that buffet.

When I first move to vegas, I suggested to go for the seafood buffet at South point. I am being smart and go there early like 5:30 before the dinner crowd arrives. By the time I get there, I saw the line and it wasn’t bad at all, but after I stand there for 20 seconds, the person in front of me says this is not the end of the line and I turn back and take a look, there’s a gap between for people to pass through and the line way way way way back. There got to be 3’hours or longer wait. No way we are going to wait for a buffet dinner!
