The London Taxi needs to be kept distinctive, if it isn’t then there is a danger of a further blurring of the lines, a dilution of our uniqueness. Currently a PHV vehicle can not be registered if it’s likely to be confused a Taxi ( yes there’s the Vito but that was an exception at the time to combat the size of the TX4 at the time, and the Vito had to have those orange decals on the side saying Taxi to help prevent confusion) IMO the TXe is priced right for what it is, comparable vehicles are similar money but without the useful turning circle. The TXe keeps us distinctive, and I agree this Transit version is too big for London in general. And if people feel they want something without the mechanical issues of the current TXe don’t think that the Ford Tranny is necessarily going to be more reliable .
The Facenas are a good family and they’ve done a lot for British speedway over the years which he nicely advertises behind. They are big old motors tho and whilst there is defo a place for them in some parts of London and absolutely at the airports, the uptake by the general population drivers may not be as big due to the size
The most important question , the turning cycle wasn’t even discussed ?? And if it’s the size of the vito I think that will actually put people off . Good for airport runs but just too big in town
200 is more than enough for the vast majority of drivers in London. I can’t remember the last time I even did 150 in one day and I come in from Sidcup. Airport chaps will probably differ.

Be Lucky
It’s nice but shouldn’t ever be mistaken for a London taxi, it simply doesn’t fit the description.
First Demonstrator will be ready in November, not September
200 miles Fully Electric ain’t enough. Non starter if TFL don’t drop the turning circle
The question “ Will it have a 25ft turning circle?” wasn’t asked 🤔 That means it won’t and TFL won’t pass it. The end.
That’s a result , only 69k
Awful company, bought a tourneo in 2019 were not interested after that still there loss, just bought an LEVC.
