You could tell already that the star prize in this episode was a car because in the middle of the Prize Board round, you can clearly see smoke starting to appear in the studio!
I've still got this episode in its original unedited form recorded from the day when Challenge first showed it in October 2006 - 5 years or so before they butchered it!
0:38 Man, Jim Bowen really got his long brown hair back since his days in The Comedians.
Mandy wouldn't stop talking. Jim couldn't get a word in.

I Think this was the 1st Time since 1987 that Jim & Tony kicked off the Show.

"Well that's the bull, but unfortunately Showbiz".
WTF?!?!
On the next throw Greeny says, "Well, also for the bull, but that's in Faces."
I probably don't need to say what he meant on both occasions. 😉
He was aiming for the bullseye but missed and went into Showbiz.
Unfortunately 17th October 1982 Is Not Available
A show notorious for awful star prizes, no wonder anyone who won anything decent wouldn’t bother gambling.
Plenty of contestants who won lots of rubbish gambled, and plenty of contestants who won very little rubbish gambled.
15:13
"You cannot lose. You cannot lose".
Er - yes they can, Jim!
FFS 🙄
At 17:18 he says, "You're four on six, that's excellent."
Er, three on six, Jim. 😉

13th September 1992
Correction, it aired on September 6th 1992.
Challenge have really butchered some of these episodes!

What do you mean 'butchered it'?
@@iraceruk 'Butchered it' means cut bits out of the episode out in such a bad way that it looks so jarring & doesn't look right.
@@iraceruk Edited it badly
Jim Bowen was an atrocious presenter.
that was part of his charm. you generally ended up laughing at him, rather than with him.
Totally agree...unlike the robots nowadays...jim was a common man...a gentleman...@@eatmywords
