Sure wish they hadn't cut the clips. I would have loved to see them all. RIP, dear Mr. Plummer.

Besides being a superb actor,he was one of the greatest storytellers I've ever heard. Great story at 28 minutes into the interview about how he entered the scene thru the fireplace instead of the door. So sorry to see Mr Plummer leave this world. He was doing some great acting almost until his death at 91. Rest in peace sir.

Chris was an anglo Montrealer. He grew up in Senneville near the Lake of Two Mountains. His mom had affiliation with McGill University and his grandfather was one of our first Canadian prime ministers. He was a quintessential Canadian..we will miss him.

This interviewer is awful. What a dull voice he has. I absolutely adore Christopher Plummer.

I heard he fell and hit his head which was the cause of death. He was preparing for another stage performance. Just days ago.

I heard that as well. Apparently he was preparing to film King Lear. Such a tragedy that he died like that. One felt he could have gone on for a few years yet.Wonderful actor. One of the finest of his generation.

I’ve always despised his part in, as well as the whole of, Sound of Music.
20th century Fox chose to completely gloss (quite ignorantly I might add), over the Nazi aspects of the story.
Christopher knew the role he was playing and did nothing to clarify his stance. He could have declined. Guilty by association.
    Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Walt Disney wasn’t involved with The Sound of Music. It was distributed by 20th Century Fox which means that Disney now owns it but that acquisition happened decades after Walt Disney’s death. Maybe do some easy research before saying stupid things like this.

Actor plays a Nazi must be a Nazi? Moron.
I guess he's also a Klingon supremacist and so on.

You make no sense, the film mentions nazism of course but it's first and foremost a (obviously fictional and very much romanticized) version of the Von Trapp family history, so what did you expect them to do? The seven children to go full Inglorious Basterds on them while singing a musical number? Anyway, his part is great in the film and so is the film itself but you do you, I guess

WHAT A COMPLETELY IGNORANT COMMENT. HE WAS AGAINST THE NAZIS IN THE MOVIE..HELLLLOOO?? WHAT MOVIE DID YOU WATCH???

Seems only thinking people could see the sense in my statement. Sound of Music makes light of Hitler’s actions & allows the film’s audience to minimise, almost forget about the Holocaust. What did you think the film was about? It couldn’t’ve been a more of a “pastel Nazi” movie if it had tried. Looks like you didn’t think at all. As fascist-sympathisers, I see you people would have completely overlooked that fact. Good riddance to your ignorance.
